Hard not to like a dispensary that's 300 yards off the Mass Pike/I-90, especially when it's the first exit coming into Massachusetts from New York state. Can pull right in and park, and either head in for a guided experience with one of the personal shoppers who sort you out, or just pop in for Chemdog grown flower and a solid selection of concentrates (give me the live wax all day). Gateway to the Berkshires, and you're greeted by weed. I have plenty more Canna Provisions visits to come. read more

Canna Provisions is a very small shop with only two clerks to wait on a line of customers. Only two customers allowed into the shop at a time due to covid precautions. I had pre-ordered and still had to wait more than a half hour in the parking lot. A busy day for Canna Provisions. There were several staff in the parking lot checking temperatures, directing traffic and making sure everyone will eventually get their product. Will most likely return since it is easier to get to than the other shop in Pittsfield. read more

Attention New Yorkers: Look for the Bait & Switch at this location! Somewhere along the line they stopped listing HARVEST dates and USE BY dates on their pre-rolls. On my last 3 visits I've had pickers choose random pre-rolls - anywhere from 11 to 8 months past the TESTED ON dates - without alerting me! I've had staff at the register make a big show of reading off "my order", holding items up for the cameras, and throwing them in the bag. Then balk when I asked to see and verify the labels for myself. The last time I had to REPEATEDLY tell the pusher behind the counter: I DO NOT WANT YOUR OLD DRUGS!!! Is Lee the depot for Holyoke's old stock? IDK. But I'm guessing they know many customers won't catch the substitutions over the din, or leave a review. Driving around the area and we saw the sign for this store, and decided to see what they had to offer online. Really huge assortment of edibles and flowers. I've actually never been to a regular dispensary (only visiting medical ones in the past). Keep in mind that if it's not also medical then your card isn't needed and there's no special price - you get taxed like everyone else. Which was an unexpected bummer when we went to collect our items. Even with that great assortment the tax adds so much to the total price that I'd be reluctant to visit a non-medical dispensary again. Ordering online was easy and the system worked very well. Curb side pick-up was interesting. You're stopped by a security guard and told to park in a specific spot after you get a text message saying your order is ready. You have to let them know what spot and what your car looks like. Everyone we interacted with was nice and it was a pretty speedy process although I thought they spent a bit too long on our IDs. Then, yet another person comes to drop off and get payment. We've only tried the peanut butter "Budder" bar but wow, that was very strong. Picked up some flower that I'd never seen before and also a hot sauce. I'm actually intrigued on how the hot sauce will be as I've never seen that offered anywhere before. Again, good prices (minus the high tax), nice location and really nice offerings so I'm glad I stopped by! read more

My first cannabis retail experience was here. It was before COVID, and I haven't had one like it since. I came with no previous knowledge of the products offered. I chose off a menu handed to me. It included information about the assorted products--most notably THC levels, and of course prices. I made a couple of choices (can't remember what they were) and browsed around at the other various merchandise that was displayed. It was a standard retail experience based on the world in 2019. Since then though, almost all my cannabis purchases at all the dispensaries I have patronized, have been preordered. The times they were not I had preselected what I was going to buy before I arrived. Initially cannabis stores in MA had to close even as liquor stores stayed open, but when they reopened preordering became the vastly preferred, if not required, way for customers to shop. CP has a good selection, but not as good as Bloom Brothers in Pittsfield. They tend toward higher-grade products, and their price ranges are generally narrow. They don't have "blowout deals" like Bloom Brothers sometimes has, but they do have reliably good products at mostly reasonable prices. They are also the only dispensary I go to that carries Heirloom Collective flower, which comes in wonderful glass jars. They also have a great advantage for convenience: Located right off I -90, they are about the same travel time away for me as Temescal Wellness in Pittsfield, even though Temescal is the closest distance away from me of any dispensary in MA. Their hours are also great, staying open well into the evening. If you're on the MassPike in the Berkshires and want to make a "pot stop," it's worth your while to get off at the Lee exit and head north. It's right across the street from McDonald's. The late hours have been a lifesaver, on occasion. They have an excellent selection of products and great staff. The atmosphere is as 4:20 inspired as it gets. Currently, the shopping experience is marred by a capacity of 4 accompanied by mask mandates in the town of Lee, but these guys do an incredible amount of business and manage it very well, despite the strict restrictions put in place by the town. So okay, full disclosure and in all honesty, we stopped in here purely out of curiosity (no, really!). But if I was a pot-head (and I'm not, at least, I've never inhaled ...), this'd probably be the place I'd get my cannabis and accessories as it was such a friendly and secure-feeling place. The set-up inside (unfortunately, they prefer no picture-taking) is like a coffee shop/gift shop vibe, not at all clinical like a pharmacy. Security and inspection of proper ID age is very tight, however, to ensure everything's on the up-and-up. There are off-duty police hired for traffic control into/out of the parking lot; you're "greeted" by a couple of persons at the door; then you hand your licenses to a receptionist to ensure meeting age criteria; finally, you're buzzed in and greeted by a sales clerk who will escort you around and explain all their offerings. When you've made your selections, your order is entered on an iPad and it's fulfilled at a bar-like counter in the corner of the showroom - you never touch or handle the product yourself until you've paid for it and walk out the door. Sounds like a bit much, but actually the service is very courteous, friendly, and attentive. I have no idea how the quality is (like I said, we were only there out of curiosity ... ) but the prices - yikes! I don't know if pricing was typical or not, but nearly 20 bucks for a pre-rolled joint (1 gram) seemed like a lot ... but I suppose it's comparable to a high-end cigar. read more

This dispensary is so well run, I will definitely be back! The folks here are very organized and friendly at the same time. They could seriously teach hospitality classes for the local restaurants in the Berkshires! Security and efficiency is top notch but then the atmosphere inside is so warm and friendly, it's really an excellent experience all around. Only one person bagging the orders then they throw them on a shelf without any sequential order. The staff does not seem to care how long you have to stand there. I'm nobody to them. They texted at 2:10 that my order was ready for the 2:30 pickup. When I got to the parking spot, I texted the make and model of my car. With four men taking care of 10 cars, I waited 20 minutes for someone to check my ID. Actually, cars pulled in, got waited on and pulled away before I was helped. That was $78 and 30 minutes in a hot car. Not worth it for me. I won't be back. They've got plenty of business without me. read more
