I was…read moreseverely unimpressed when I first moved in our apartment had carpet that was clearly just steam cleaned and was older than dirt. Mold was forming in areas of the carpet ,it had stains, and was even tearing in the corners. After speaking to other residents it was clear they had the same issue some with cigarette burns in the carpet when moving in. The walls in the bathroom and kitchen weren't updated nor maintained possessing very old outdated patterns and peeling in the edges. When I inquired about a carpet change I was disappointed to have so much trouble getting it changed out and decided to forgo it. Big mistake seeing as not a week after move In I cut myself on a stray nail and twice on other ones in the carpet since then. Aside from this the outer appearance of the buildings are pleasant despite the lawn care which lacks , as they have mowed several times in damp weather tearing up the beautiful grass that used to surround the compound. When it rains there is severe flooding in the front apartments water gets well beyond the ankles on the sidewalk. I would recommend requesting one of the rear apartments or ones on higher grounds.The office staff is usually very courteous and helpful though.The maintenance is prompt to address and fix issues, and the pet policy is fabulous. It is a clean pleasant area to live. If you plan on moving here just be sure to view the apartment you are getting and make sure carpet and stuff is to your approval prior to signing anything or moving in. It is also conveniently placed near shopping areas and restaurants. It is one of the much better places to live despite the other issues.
