This quaint little cafe serves up some serious grub. They have a breakfast and lunch menu which both have great selections. You can order off their breakfast menu up until 12pm. The hubby ordered the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, & tomato) with a fried egg on a soft focaccia/panini like bread. After one bite, the yolk of his fried egg oozed out like a real bleeder; well done Canteen. He wolfed down his sandwich within 5 minutes and said it was "super yummy". I got the beet salad with baby spinach, ricotta and walnuts. Simple yet so good with the shredded beets and onions. It's a satisfying salad. Hubby doesn't normally eat greens but he cleaned up the rest of my salad too. It was a great meal. Definitely stop by this cute cafe if you're in the area. read more

Situated on the main road in Noosa junction, canteen cafe provides quick service and scrumptious feed from their friendly staff. Their slow roasted mushrooms and grilled haloumi was delicious!! The mushrooms were perfectly soft and juicy; paired beautifully with the sweet and salty haloumi. Their griddle cakes might be the best I've ever had! Similar to corn fritters, the griddle cakes are packed with juicy sweet corn and a mild heat of jalapeño. Accompanied with all your favourite breakfast sides: crispy bacon, creamy smashed avo and juicy roasted cherry tomatoes- this dish will satisfy your brunch cravings. Yelp led us to Canteen after we'd spent an Autumn morning along the beach at Coolum. Looking for something casual but wholesome we struck upon a gem in Canteen. He enjoyed a smoked salmon wrap with a chocolate shake (served in an on trend mason jar) and I their spelt sandwich with roasted vegetables and goats cheese. Bonus points for their iced latte. It was less than $15 each and a relaxing atmosphere. Staff were, if anything, over attentive but who can complain about that? Street parking is limited but you can make use of the shopping centre car park next door. read more

This is my favourite breakfast spot in Noosa. Every visit, the food an drink has been amazing and the service is prompt and friendly. Definitely worth getting away from the tourist strip to visit! Always busy but the food never seems to be far away. Excellent mix of foods on the menu, the eggs Benedict being my current favourite. Have only been in for breakfast so far but keen to try the lunch menu. read more

Stopped by for a brekkie. Overall decent food, great location in Noosa, and an easy walk to the forest after that. The bircher muesli and smashed avo were a great way to start the day, and then a hike to Hell's Gate nearby really sealed the deal with the special place that is Noosa. read more
