My daughter has thrived in the care she has received at Canterbury! It feels like a small family environment, not to big not too small. Something that was important to me when looking for new daycare, was nutrition. At my daughter's previous daycare, she eat sugary junk food that we don't ordinarily eat at home. This was concerning to me, her to get used to that kind of eating. Fortunately, Canterbury provides nutritious and sugar conscious real food. Example: A mandarin orange versus a fruit cup! I really appreciate the offerings are more "real food" versus kid food. I appreciate they provide a morning snack, which is nice if the child is having a bad morning and or misses breakfast. She doesn't have to wait till lunch. Morning snack is right around the corner! Another thing I was surprised about when my daughter had her parent teacher conference at 2 years old. Honestly, I didn't really expect much except them to tell me she's nice, she shares well, etc. But they actually had real objects. They also recommended an eye exam which had been completely missed by us and her regular checkups. Our daughter did have an eye condition and again Canterbury is helping us with the correction. Every month the parents are welcome to attend little events at the end of the day. I really feel that Canterbury cares about the mind, body and soul of their children. And truly try to make things enjoyable and engaging for kids. I can't recommend Canterbury enough, or the staff, too many to name. read more

My son is in one of the toddler classrooms at Canterbury and we love it! He is so happy there and learns SO much. I am constantly amazed at his growth. The staff does a very good job at communicating to parents via email and via phone when necessary. All the classrooms have multiple iPads to keep the parents updated about their child throughout the day through an app. I look at it multiple times a day while at work, I can always count on a smiling picture of my boy! With the pandemic this year, Canterbury has done a great job at keeping the children safe and keeping the parents informed. We came to Canterbury in October 2017 after a horrible experience at another daycare center. Within 1 week, the teachers had my 2.5 year old almost completely potty trained, after months of trying at the other daycare. He has grown and matured so much in our 8 months there. From learning Spanish, to shapes, all his numbers and letters, we couldn't be happier! We just moved our 4.5 month old over when they had an opening and she is all smiles when we take her in and pick her up. We get updates throughout the day of what they are learning and pictures. Both of our boys attend Canterbury and have for the past couple of years. We couldn't be happier with the teachers and staff here. They learn something new every day and are excited to go to school. There are new activities presented all the time and enough structure to keep the kids on track. The boys love their teachers who seem genuinely happy to see them every morning. As is the case with all children, ours have their challenges, but the teachers and staff handle them with ease and grace. The facilities are clean and nice, the staff is absolutely amazing, and the curriculum cannot be beat. We absolutely love Canterbury at Prairie Ridge. My son is 4.5 yo and has been there since 2 yo. He loves it and I feel like he has learned so much since starting there. My daughter also goes there and she is 17 mo, been there since 9 mo. Both of my children are always excited to see their classmates and teachers. The staff is so sweet to the kids and the director is super easy to work with and really put children and parents as a top priority. read more

We have been at Canterbury for over 3 years now and have had some amazing teachers. My daughter is in the Pre-K class now and her teachers are the best (seriously!) and she has learned so much in the last few months in preparation for Kindergarten. Both of my children have gone to CAPR and have loved it. Mr. Ben and Miss Randee are fantastic. My daughter, who went to CAPR for 3 years is now in 2nd grade and I feel that she was more than ready to start school when she went to Kindergarten because of what she learned at CAPR.
