When we first enrolled our daughter in February of last year I was more nervous than a freshman…read morestarting high school. I just "wasn't ready" and wasn't sure if someone else could take care of my child the same way I could, but Anna allowed me to rest assured that my daughter was well taken care of with all the updates featuring diaper changes, pictures playing outside or with toys inside, eating lunch/snack, and always providing detailed updates during pick up. Anna was the BEST teacher Qira has ever had and I'm so glad that she was our first experience entering a daycare and set the standard for how people who work at a daycare should be. If you aren't aware with how daycare works it goes by the age and once my daughter turned 2 1/2 she was moved to a different room as she should've. We were excited to see how much growth would happen since this room was for bigger kids and to our surprise the opposite happened. Little did we know that was only the beginning! A month or two later that teacher left due to being overworked and unable to enough days off since the center is low on staff. As an employee myself I understand things like this happen everywhere so we tried to be understanding as they looked for a replacement. This is where the nightmare began. For WEEKS my daughter did not receive a lunch or diaper change. The only reason I noticed is because when we arrived home she would run to the fridge crying for food and her pull up was so soiled it was disintegrating. I brought this issue to Tina - the director's attention on multiple occasions and each time I received a deep apology promising it would never happen again....it happened more times than we can count. Why were we paying $350 a week? Why were we sending a new pack of diapers with her every week? I am now completely confused as to why basic things a childcare provider should be doing are not being done; so I utilize the only feature that I can trust and the main reason we picked this location- the live cameras. There were soooo many things I saw that I don't have the space to write about unfortunately, but I am doing my due diligence to warn any parent who may be reading reviews on Yelp to help choose and those that actually care about your kids to please STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! I became the "most hated mom" at this place because I was constantly checking the app making sure my daughter was being taken care of and no matter who the teacher was they consistently showed me the basic needs we asked for were too much to ask for, literally! Anytime I talked to a teacher or the director it was always, "oh I'm so sorry that happened, I will make sure it doesn't happen again". They kept saying they would do better, but all their actions said the opposite. Here I am, as a working parent trying to make it work because in today's economy you need multiple streams of income to stay afloat. I trusted this daycare to take care of my daughter and instead her progress went backwards, she was always constipated and probably wondered everyday why we left her there for hours. As a parent that wants the best for my children, I feel like I failed her by not withdrawing her from this place earlier. Ever since she left she has almost mastered potty training, can spell her name and the tantrums are minimal. I truly believe this place was making her uncomfortable and she was not treated fairly. Which is very unfortunate because most of the caretakers were moms themselves! I want to note that Lamia was light in this dark place, she always greeted me warmly and was so nice to my daughter and we never worked directly with her. Delaney, you never addressed me as the mother of the child you were "taking care of" only wiped her nose when I asked you to and that was asking too much because bothered you to do it. You never changed her diaper and always acted like anytime I asked how her day was it was such a task to remember. Not sure why you're working with children if you don't plan to respect the parent enough to let them know when something bad happens to them instead of acting like it's not a big deal. Marqueana I am most disappointed in you. I came there everyday for a week straight on my lunch break to make sure my daughter at least got a lunch and no milk because she can't have dairy (everyone seemed to forget this everyday for MONTHS contributing to her constipation). You let me now you understood because your daughter has sickle cell and how important it is for certain guidelines to be followed and continued to throw my daughter's belonging on the ground upon arrival, not changing her diaper, not even making sure she has a blanket to sleep with...then had the nerve to act like I was bothering you when I asked for an update. I'm heartbroken writing this and have been for quite sometime. Please disregard all the fake 5 star reviews that were written 8/9 years ago, those profiles look like bots and should be taken down so the stars can reflect the true value of this place.

The school has a rare spirit about, it is welcoming and inclusive. The education standards are very high, and students at Maranatha consistently rank higher than at the best alternatives in our area. This school may be the most affordable and the most diverse private school in the metro area, both a huge plus! We haven't seen bullying, exclusivity, or putting up with problem people like you see in other schools. Our kids came from a public school and fit in with ease. Terrific staff and state-of-the-art facilities are an added bonus. It's easy to see why Maranatha has so many potential students shadowing and so many new enrollments!

No one holds her accountable for being a liar... just what you want in a leader of a Christian school. The only thing she is good at is lying and running this school into the ground. If you are rich, you are loved and can do no wrong. If you are outspoken, then you are shunned. The teachers are treated poorly. The head of school created a "special education" program just so she could check a box with the ACSI accreditation. The facts are.....they cannot help any child with special needs......whether that is with a learning disability or a gifted child. They DO NOT have qualified teachers. Would you want a person off the street performing surgery??? Nope. Families who pay for their child to go to private school want qualified teachers. Don't get me started on their non-affiliated social media accounts that I'm sure the school doesn't even know are out there. Making a fool out of the head of school. NOT a Christian school, only pretends to be. They are more concerned with image than they are with actually educating your child. It's a fraud of an institution, hiding behind the "Christian" title. If you are trying to leave a public school, this school is no different and definitely not worth wasting your money on.

They take walks to a local park, plenty of outdoor time ( which is sooooo important for little boys , especially!!) , yoga, Spanish , lots of cool crafts and projects... they even have a mini garden the kids get to help with!!!!!! He loves picking things in the garden best! :). She does a wonderful job of balancing education, hands on learning, physical and emotional development, while still allowing rime to just be a kid and ponder the amazing world around you! One of my favorite things about her that she feeds them so healthy!! He actually LOVES broccoli and veggies, thanks to Ms. Amber!!! This is priceless to me, as his health and well being are soo important to me! Not a lot of sugar here! She serves predominantly organic foods , which I especially love!!!! They always do special things for holidays. She uses a curriculum and does preschool as well to ensure your child is reading ready for school! He loves how much fun it is. I love all the value she gives by going far above and beyond what most providers do!! What a blessing she has been for my grandson!! You cannot go wrong with her!!

My granddaughter had been home for the past year due to Covid and really didn't want to go but we convinced her, and I'm so glad we did. The staff was beyond sweet and welcoming, the facility clean and organized, a large variety of creative and educational toys, and lots of indoor space to run jump and play. When I came to pick her up I heard her laughs the moment I opened the door. The staff said she had been having so much fun that she and agreed for me to sneak out and let her play some more. When she did come home she was exhausted, excited, and full of stories to tell. She was up, dressed, breakfast ate, and lunch packed (optional) an hour before we were supposed to leave, and this girl is so very not a morning person! Their prices are awesome, currently $8 per hour or $56 for 7-10 hours, and $4 for lunch if you choose to eat there. It's a drop in facility with extended evenings for those afternoon workers, and you only pay for the hours you are there. I highly recommend checking them out. Your kiddo won't be disappointed.

It was $56 for a day which is very reasonable and the place was nicer than I expected for that rate! The only recommendation is that they should clarify what a day means since I was under the impression it was for 7 hours but it really was a range from 7-10 hours that are included in this price. With that being said, I may have misunderstood but all is good since I almost left work early to get him.
