This is supposed to be one of the top restaurants in Lages. The interior design definitely would…read moresuggest that it is very good. But in reality, it's just not good at all. You start off with a salad bar buffet. All of the dishes that they serve for the salad are tasteless and ordinary. There is nothing unique about the salad nor any of the dishes that they offer. They take the word "Salad Bar" literally as every plate is a salad with very little to no dressing. You are expected to put your own dressing on it. I went with my girlfriend. She ordered a steak well done and I got a pasta dish. We waited about 45 minutes before her steak arrived 15 minutes before my dish arrived. We don't touch our foods unless everybody has their plate in front of them. I informed the manager that the steak had been sitting for 10 minutes and that it was starting to get cold and that he better tell the kitchen to cook a new steak as my dish still hadn't arrived. He promptly went back and 5 minutes later, my dish came out. About 2 minutes after that, the steak came back. I still cannot understand why this constantly happens in Brazil. This just shows how backwards this country is. The cooks don't understand the concept of timing the plates so that they all come out at the same time. Maybe if they had a clock in the kitchen or at least used a watch, they could cook properly. Or maybe most of the Brazilian chefs are so one-minded that they can't cook 2 dishes at the same time and have to cook one dish, serve it before starting the second dish.
