There is an oddness in how we have personal connotations for words, and it colors how we view the world. For example, I've always disliked canteens or cafeterias. I just don't like the idea of everyone eating the same food and having little choice on what to eat day in day out. This began in elementary school and highschool, but I fortunately had the pleasure of being a "baon boy" all my life. Because of my experiences I was prejudiced towards Cantinetta since I couldn't get that image of homogeneous meals out of my mind. I was eventually forced to eat here because of a bunch of friends, and, obviously, my pointless prejudice was unfounded. They served a brand of Italian food that I'd label more Florentine, with pastas and meats highlighted in equal measure. They were far from generic, though we did have to argue a little to ensure no one would order the same thing as me.
