I recently booked a couple of appointments to try the place out since it's close to where I work…read moreand having walked by a few times it looked nice. Looks can be deceiving... Facial: I booked the "Fountain of Youth" facial. It is the most expensive at $169 and was supposed to last 90 minutes. It was much shorter. The owner of the spa did my facial and kept leaving the room for long stretches to attend to other business. The facial itself was nothing special - and not worth the price, especially when she talked non-stop throughout trying to sell me on their line of skin care products so I couldn't even relax. Afterwards, she ambushed me in the lobby with her daughter and did an elaborate & lengthy presentation where they measured the antioxidant level in my skin (or something like that) to again try to sell me products like a couple of used car salesmen. I listened to be polite, but was really NOT impressed with how pushy they were. Pedicure: I booked the $75 "Foot Treatment" pedicure. This time it was the owner's daughter who did the treatment and again she was called away at least six times (I counted) to help her mother at reception since her mother does not speak French. The pedicure was supposed to take 60 minutes, but because of the constant interruptions it took much longer and I finally had to leave without her even finishing because I had another appointment to get to. The owner and her daughters are very nice, but I found them to be very unprofessional and extremely pushy on selling their skin care products - more so than other spas I've been to. I won't be going back.

Went 3 years ago so may have changed....my wife asked Swedish massage yet masso kept doing Chinese…read morebone crushing massage. At least 3 times my wife asked. My massage was good (guy masso) but as I was in prone position falling asleep he decides to pluck my hair in my ass crack! It was semi erotic but mainly odd as he did it so casually. Weird vibe def. when we paid the price was a little off and they spoke amongst themselves in another language. Luckily they didn't know my wife ALSO spoke that and we sorted it out. Have not gone back since. I'd leave a 4* had it not been for ass grooming and my wife's exp.

I generally go to this husband & wife business for my haircuts…read more They cater more to a Chinese and Vietnamese clientele. Excluding English and French, I've heard the husband speak Vietnamese, Cantonese (or maybe it was Toisanese/Taishanese), and Mandarin and I've heard the wife speak Vietnamese and Cantonese (or maybe it was Toisanese/Taishanese). There are only 2 stations in this place so depending on how many customers there are, there might be a wait. I've waited close to 30 minutes a few times when I really wanted to get my haircut depending on how many people in front of me an how complex of a haircut or hair-styling service they want. Both the husband and wife do men's and women's hair and the price is very good. Located a few steps away from from one of the Du College metro exits, this place is situated between the 2 exits and is less than a 1 minute walk from either exit but probably slightly closer to the metro exit on Du College street. I generally drive there and there is free parking somewhat close-by. The parking right in front of this place can be hit or miss. There are a few 10 minute parking places (but I generally don't park in these spots since I don't want to risk getting a ticket) and a little further away, there are a few (maybe enough space for 5 parked cars) what I believe to be 60 minute parking spots. If I can't find parking in front of the place, during the times that I normally go for my haircuts, there are a few streets close-by that offer free parking. This place is cash only so they don't accept debit cards or credit cards. I go there for a simple haircut so I don't look at the price list much which is situated on top of the mirror facing the 2 hair-cutting stations but they also do things like perms.

I've been going to this hair salon for almost 30 years since I was very young. They've changed…read moreownerships over the years. But the service is always quick and I love getting my haircut there because it is very convenient for me. It's 1 minute from metro du college. The haircuts are inexpensive as well. Only costs me $10.
