PTA, staff or principal has some sort of scam going on. They raise tens of thousands in fundraisers…read moreat the beginning of the school year. Their fundraisers promise field trips, supplies, additional activities, etc. Then it gets spent on a P.E coach for the students for the school year. I am a little confused because P.E is supposed to be ran by the staff of teachers. Does this mean Imperial teachers don't want to conduct P.E for their students? They would rather spend public donated funds (at least $30K BTW) so they don't have to teach P.E? Other elementary schools I have worked at have teachers collaborate on a P.E curriculum for their students. It is ridiculous to spend that much money on a resource Imperial teachers should be supplying, than have a school look as old and run down as it does. The playground is peeling, old, broken and sad looking. There are no covered walkways for students to walk to the outdoor benches for lunch. Which means during cold, rainy days when they eat outdoors, their food is soaked by the time they get to the benches. There is NO indoor cafeteria and no auditorium for student ceremonies, performances, etc. For an affluent area to be capable of providing at least some basic school amenities like an auditorium or indoor cafeteria (at least a covered pathway) through fundraisers, why is this not happening? Underprivileged areas are much nicer looking and provide true additional activities for their students without asking for additional donations aside from the hundreds already donated... apparently for P.E coaches. Did I mention that parents are still asked throughout the school year to donate even more money for field trips and classroom supplies? This is an addition to the hundreds we have already donated for their main fundraisers and additional "eat at such and such place these days for even more donations!" I am tapped out. I do not want to pay for a P.E coach because the teaching staff is either lazy or privileged. If it is a staffing issue, then take it to the OUSD district and get them to subsidize most of it, if not ALL of it. Or collaborate and do it yourselves. Other elementary schools do. Why do we need to pay over $30k so Imperial teachers don't? Use that money to actually go towards the students. Not hide behind student use, but really its so teachers don't have to teach an hour of P.E, twice a week. There is no excuse to have raised over $100k since my child has began attending Imperial and have such a worn down playground, no covered walkway to their outdoor "cafeteria", and no actual auditorium for school events. Imperial uses their library space as a small, area for ceremonies and events. It feels like I am attending someones last minute thrown together bible study where you sit wherever you can find a plastic chair or stand against a wall or bookshelf. So tacky. And THIS is an Anaheim Hills Elementary school everybody! PTA, Principal, and staff should be investigated. Do better for your schools OUSD.

Tobin is a genuinely kind and thoughtful leader who runs the school with heart, a strong sense of community, and a continuous drive to improve wherever he can. We look back on our time there with great memories. If you're in the area and considering schools for your child, we highly recommend Fairmont Anaheim Hills. Your kids will learn, grow, and most importantly, be surrounded by a truly supportive environment and some amazing people.

Fairmont Private Schools Anaheim Hills has been an exceptional experience for our entire family…read more It's truly laid a strong foundation--both academically and socially--for all three of our children. From our very first campus tour, we were struck by the warm and welcoming environment. Jennie, the admissions director, was incredibly professional and thorough. She took the time to walk us through the campus, explain the school's philosophy, conduct a thoughtful assessment of our child, and patiently answer all of our questions. Compared to other schools we toured, Fairmont stood out as organized and personal. We left feeling confident that this would be the right fit for our son. Our oldest child enrolled in the summer program at 3.5 years old. The transition from daycare couldn't have gone more smoothly. While he initially missed his old friends, he was enthusiastic about the wide variety of engaging activities Fairmont offered. By the end of the summer, he was already familiar with the staff, teachers, and layout of the campus, which made starting the school year a breeze. His teacher that fall was kind, nurturing , and invested in his development--academically, emotionally, and socially. As parents, we had complete peace of mind leaving him in her care. Our oldest thrived at Fairmont, which is why enrolling our other two children felt like a natural choice. This past year, they completed 3rd grade, 1st grade, and Pre-K, and each of them has had a fantastic experience. Our children are not only excelling academically but have also built meaningful friendships and grown as individuals. There are so many aspects of the school that we truly value. The smaller class sizes ensure that each child receives the attention and support they need. The curriculum is rigorous yet engaging, and students are well-prepared for the next academic year--often working a full year ahead of public school standards. For those who need a little extra help, resources and support are readily available. Most importantly, we're so grateful for the incredible teachers--each one has shown genuine care for our children and a true dedication to their growth and well-being. We wholeheartedly recommend Fairmont to any family considering a private school experience.

A Very Positive Experience!…read more I was able to do a free trial day here. The first thing I experienced was the vibe. The school is very upbeat and the vibe is amazing. It is something you pretty much have to experience yourself and describing it in a review is somewhat difficult. The school is cheerful and stimulating and flows with a very positive feeling. The teachers are proactive and there is very open communication. The campus is very well maintained and the atmosphere is a notch or two above ecxellence. I received two emails during the day with updates. When I picked up the little one she expressed her enjoyment and talked the entire way home about her activities and the friends she made. By far, my two favorite things include the enjoyment of my little one and the open and detailed communication with the teachers. The area has a good school district. But, if you are like me, you want more than "good" for your kids. We all want the best! Definately a place to check out if you are looking for school for the kids. I look forward to the upcoming year.

Our family chose to keep our daughter here after starting at the preschool and we have no regrets…read more In fact, the transition has been seamless and as a parent who works long hours, it gives me tremendous comfort to know that my child is in a safe and loving environment. My husband and I were hesitant to enroll at a private school because we were public education kids ourselves and the public schools locally aren't shabby; however, a couple things about this school stand out that make the investment here completely worth it for us include: 1) The class size can't be beat. The individual attention and adjustment to each child to challenge and support to their needs is possible because of this and we see it in how they are able to engage with our daughter and watch her develop. 2) We really appreciate the ability to customize our engagement at the school. By this, I mean that if we feel there are concerns or ideas about topics to explore or cultural activities or holidays to celebrate, the principal and teachers allow us to come up with ways to see what may be possible to share. So it's not just about volunteering for class trips, but doing hands on activities and presentations in collaboration with the teachers. Last year, I volunteered to do a presentation on the Lunar New Year, for example, with another parent. We love that we have a community here or fellow loving, active and engaged parents. 3) We love that they look at ways to educate to new ways of learning and have tools available that prepare students for the future. Not only do they incorporate technology (like having iPads for each student and a blog program for kindergarteners), but also teach things like civic engagement through campus wide elections for class representatives, and community service projects where the whole family can volunteer. To be balanced, one thing to consider is that while there are advantages to a small class size, it does mean there is limitation to student interactions to a broad swath of students which can serve to keep varying experiences in perspective; after all, the real world is far from this safe bubble. Having said that, overall, we are very happy, and I have to acknowledge that in addition to the aforementioned, the stellar staff and teachers genuinely care and know each of the children here, are accessible, and are loved by my child. The comfort in knowing this is where she is for such a large part of her day truly is priceless.
