One of my favorite places to go when I visit the area. The drive there can be a little narrow and with dirt roads but the view and location is amazing. The staff had English menus and we're friendly. The food was so fresh and had a lot of options on the menu. I had the daily catch, some wine and some few apps while we enjoyed the view. This place is literal magic. Phenomenal panoramic views of the entire cape. The ambiance of this place is as rugged and untamed as the landscape. I cannot go on enough about how pictureque this place is. Food is excellent serving both classical Catalan fare and Indian food. Where else can you get Catalan classics like butifarra and mongetes ( sausage and white beans) along with your curry with halal chicken? Steaks are good and so are the salads. We've had the baked fish which is also very good. But my favorite is the Indian food. Where else can you get top notch and authentic Indian food in Spain overlooking spectacular views? I've had the vegetarian curry, lamb curry and chicken Korma. All were excellent. Best Indian food in Spain. I make it a point to come here every year. It is a pilgrimage of sorts for me. read more

I explored this beautiful location at the Cap de Creus Nationalparc in 2008. It was an august late afternoon, i was walking along the coast, up to the hill where's standing the light house and i heared at first an ambient guitar sound easy, fresh and friendly it seems like a pink floyd acoustic scene. I walked right to this music and i was standing in front of this beautiful cafe-restaurant. they just opened after siesta, the musician was standing outside with his amplifier and a drink and me, looking and hearing this, at the horizon the sea and in front of me the coast and the nature. I spent here and the year after wonderful moments and I wish to come again. Apropos wine, coffee, olives, fish everything i ordered was delicious and the working people here very friendly and uncomplicated! read more

Five stars for food, five stars for scenery, five stars for service, and five stars for just being there. I'd heard about Cap de Creus from the owner of my vacation rental in Roses so decided to take a drive through the beautiful scenery along the coast. As you approach on the winding road with a steady view of the sea, there are beautiful olive orchards along the hillsides and occasional views down to the coastline, but the highlight is that final view of the Cap de Creus lighthouse on the top of a mountain. Parking is easy, and there are many beautiful views for photographs, then you're given two choices: the restaurant or the bar, which are separate buildings but nearby. I chose the the bar and ordered an Estrella beer while I looked at the menu. It was quite windy so I decided to go inside to eat. The menu had a lot of choices but since I'd eaten lunch just a few hours before, i wasn't super hungry. Still, I ordered the butifarra, which is a traditional Catalan sausage served with white beans. Wow, it was sooooo good! Flavors like I haven't tasted in sausage and matched perfectly with the mild white beans. I also ordered a small plate of ham and vegetables with some bread, which were also delicious and a nice complement to the other flavors. The service was friendly and very patient as I looked over the menu, which was available in English, and asked questions. While this was just one delicious meal among many during this trip, it was memorable because of the incredible views and atmosphere. I'd love another plate of that butifarra right now! read more

Meal was quite mediocre. We were charged for a much larger, more expensive fish dish that we did not order. Certain of this because our server especially pitched the one we did not get. No one ever came back to see if we were okay to tell them. Then, in even a bit greater than the normal style in Spain, waited for about 40 minutes for our check. Don't waste your time, just go to the hike down the road at La Tudela and you will have a much more beautiful perception of the beautiful Cap de Creus. read more
