It's cool to spend an hour or so here checking out the different types of olives they grow on the ranch. One of the coolest things was being able to pick almonds directly from the tree and eat them right there to see the difference between what they grow. Unfortunately you can't taste the olives off the trees, they need to be processed. The Taber Ranch events center is beautiful - if you're looking for an amazing outdoor wedding, check out this venue! Don't miss the infused olive oils and their sriracha balsamic! Not a lot of cell service out here though! read more

I just saw their blog posts when I was doing some research on Olive Oils in California. Have you ever tried Capay Valley Ranches Olive Oil? I know the owners (the actual farmer, Chris Steele) and his trees are amazing. They just had a gigantic crop that produced over 12,000 gallons of Arbequina olive oil, that tastes amazing, with that great pepper finish you have with all great, fresh olive oils. Check it out: http://www.cvranches.com/ They are also selling quite a few other styles of Olive oils and Almonds that they grow there, including flavored oils and Balsamic Vinegars. I also just got a bag of the butter toffee almonds. Wow. they are almost gone. They are SOOO good. They are good for you too! I love cooking with their oils, and they also have flavored balsamics which taste great on salads, especially the Blood Orange, and cranberry flavors together! Try it! Go to their website online: (http://www.cvranches.com/) and buy stuff. It's all awesome, fresh, and the taste is outrageous! read more

Yummy, tastey and professional quality that I have not found anywhere else. The olive oil is what I use for bread dipping (they also have balsamic vinegars), and cooking. It's great on salads too! I use the Arbequina when I cook eggs in the morning. It has superb flavor profile and I know it's great for my health! If you're looking for the highest quality oils you can buy, this is it, in my opinion. I love the unique branding and they have a great website too. Easy to use. Just a great company! read more

My favorite is the mix of balsamic and pear olive oil to create a salad dressing. So yummy! And the almonds are addicting!
