After rocking a pony tail for a few years I was ready for a change, personally I am tired of the "clip joints" and wanted to go somewhere that made me feel like the barbershops I used to frequent growing up. The ladies at Cape Barber Shop have the perfect vibe, laid back, with an old school approach, friendly and funny. I told Cheryl have at it, just leave it in the long side and she did a great job. Two months later I stopped in again for a trim and it was like I had been in there yesterday. Gents you are missing a great thing if you haven't stopped in an given them a try. Wait time was a reasonable 20 minutes. when asked how I'd like my hair cut, I said "i like it left a bit long, middle of the ear, and collar-length in back." That's not what I got. Top of the ears, and very short in the back. I'll never go back there again. Extremely disappointed....... read more

I started coming here shortly after I relocated to Cape. I tried two or three others before landing at this shop. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer a full range of styling services available for everyone. Waiting area is very comfortable and accommodating with magazines, TV restroom etc. also a "bulletin board" supporting business cards from other small businesses in the area. read more

Okay location, good customer service, so so hair cut. Even with a picture and verbally asking for a fade, it was not delivered had to tell her at the end to go back and fade the sides. It was like the lady just wanted to do whatever she was and wanted to do. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going back. read more

I went here because my regular barber had their parking lot taped off I am unable to walk the distance I would've had to. I called, explained my dilemma to, Cheryl, she said to come on in & she'd take care of me. Really? Ok. Drove over, she did a great job, love the hominess of the place. This barber shop is a straight up good place to come for a good cut. After the first time or two they remember better than you will what you like. Comfortable seats and plenty of good magazines. 3 great looking ladies so the wait won't be long at all. All they need is a new roof, and that's the owners fault not there's. Old school barber shop and the two ladies working there are a hoot. The cut was great and they even trimmed up my quasi-beard at the time for free. Other than the haircut, the thing that stood out the most to me was the fantastic fragrance of the shop. I know it is a bit odd to say that about a barber shop but it really is amazingly delightful. The decor is also just out of an old school barber shop from a classic movie. If you want a classic barber shop experience or just a good ole haircut, check this place out. read more

I'm not a fan of fancy hair salons when all I need is a quick cut. For $11 I got a haircut by a kind, skilled professional who is tops in her trade. She cut my hair with care, maybe as good as she would cut her own son's hair. After waiting for 25 minutes the Barber came over to us and said "I don't cut kids hair" of course I thought he was kidding and I laughed and told my son to hop in the chair He was not kidding and refused to cut his hair. We are here in CC for 2 months got my hair cut here twice last year and it was fine. This year I asked for a #3 blade cut all over, does not get any simpler than that. the brunette lady butchered me. One side was a #3 and then she burred the other side to like a #1. Asked her to trim my eyebrows, and she practically burred off them as well. I was reading a magazine and was not paying attention - my big mistake. It she cuts YOUR hair you better be watching or she'll butcher YOU too. I am so disappointed with her. read more

Being new to Cape Coral in need of a hair cut, I had my hair cut back home in Ct 3 months ago for the first time after going to expensive salons to giving a try at a barber shop in Clinton, Ct. All this time I would have preferred just a cut, nothing else that has cost me $$$. That barber gave me the best cut ever. I like washing and blowing out my hair, I have to say my hair is short. I browsed the internet wanting to stay in Cape Coral area. Just decided to give the shop a try. First and most important I loved my cut. Worried at first seeing that it has been 3 months, Cheryl not sure I spelled her name correct, was very friendly, fun to listen to while I had to wait shop is old fashioned and fun to look around. I was warned that when the season really starts the wait can be long. While I waited customers just coming in, most of them were called by name and the 2 women barbers had fun comments with them. read more
