The prices are very reasonable, it's £45 for a cut and blow and half head highlights with one colour. The staff are lovely always willing to get you a drink and a magazine. The only downside is the parking as there is no car park you have to find a space on the street. It's best to try and avoid the school run times as its right next to a school and the traffic can be really bad.

Felt very comfortable and welcome when I arrived,staff very down to earth,not at all snooty ! I had some layers cut in and about 2 off length,so hair was still long.Ive bit of phobia of hairdressers after bad experience in past,but she did`nt cut it too short as some hairdressers can be scissor happy. I`ll definately be visiting again soon,might be more adventurous this time lol. And its usually full on a Saturday at 11am - which is testament to how popular it is. Kids are especially well catered for in here, they even have a supply of lollies for them to keep them quiet which is a nice touch. I think their prices are about right, they seem to make it up for the kids (sometimes its £6, sometimes its £8) but all in all - they're not too bad. They're good snippers too - I've sat and watched them do traditional short back and sides, and i've also seen them do trendy styles, with razors etc. Definitely worth 5 stars from me.

I'm not trying to reveal how old she is that would be mean, but I think she is a fab hairdresser, and she has worked really hard to get her own salon. The other hairdressers at The Ballroom are truely lovely girls and do a fabulous job; every time I go to the salon I always get top-class service, I get really good tips and the products they use are amazing.
