Car was broken by them due to bad towing. Denied they did anything wrong and never took responsibility for it. Every time we called to get information from them they were incredibly rude and came up with many excuses for what happened. Do not recommend this place at all. read more

This place is a money-grabbing, rude business. They don't care about the customer, they only care about getting their cash (that's all they accept). Had car towed even after clarifying a parking question with them - we parked legally according to the person I first called. Called to speak with manager thinking a mistake was made and she was rude and basically didn't believe me that anyone had apparently told me wrong when I called after first moving to new place and wanting to clarify the parking. Don't ever use this service. I called at 5:39 pm for a tow. Called back at 6 pm because I failed to ask what the ETA was. I was told it would be there in 10 minutes. After waiting for over a hour and no tow truck, I called someone else and called Capital Towing. Worst tow service in town. read more

Towed my car while I was in the process of picking up my disabled Aunt for a dr apt. We were on our way to the car when we saw Ryan the employee placing my car on the tow, he told me the only way to unhook it was to pay him $107...very rude, laughed when I told him I was just picking up the tenant, said it was his job to tow my car per the contract with Eagles Landing. My aunt missed her apt for her kidney dialysis and upset us so badly that I will never visit that particular apartment complex again. Also will be contracting a different company for our towing needs as we to are property managers and would never let that happen to one of our tenants and/or their guests. Parking to pick up or deliver is always excepted especially when most of the tenants are with disabilities and have drivers pick them up for their needs. Even with the parking permit in my aunts house that she clearly showed him as we were leaving, Ryan still acted rude and disrespectful of our time and demanded a $107 cash fee to unhook my car from his truck. Absolutely mean. Will not use this company and have them treat my tenants and their guests in this manner. Reporting them to the BBB ASAP. Worst customer relations ever. Worst company I know of. They Towed a car that had a permit sticker on it. When they realized they made a mistake they said" oh, come get your car, we won't charge you" They would not return the car from were it was taken. Oh, and the girl whose car was taken, 9 months pregnant with a 15 month old baby in arms. Baby seat was in her car so she could not take a cab. When she arrived to retrieve car they tossed her her keys and made her walk across a muddy parking lot to get her car. True no class business operation. read more

I was trying to come home for lunch today and the tow truck came down my street the opposite direction, saw me coming and blocked my way to my house so he could "do his job" now I'm no expert but one would think it would be courteous to move out the way and let me pass, then proceed with positioning your truck. Idiot. But no, the drivers are rude and think they are the only ones on the road. Never using capital towing, ever, I'd rather over pay for better service elsewhere. Maybe if your drivers were more courteous you wouldn't have bad complaints. read more

Horrible experience.. after a car accident that left my car totaled I needed to sign a waiver to let the insurance company assess and move my car. I called Capital Towing to ask how I needed to do that and was told to come on down. I got down there and they would not give me access to my car despite having the police report with all the data they needed.. they told me the car didn't have plates on it so they could not verify I owned it. It did in fact have plates on it so a young woman went out to get the plate numbers and I was all set to go. I bought a friend who didn't have his ID on him (grabbed him away from yard work) and they would not let him in to help me remove my plates. I was in a skirt and heels from work and had no idea what tools I even needed. I offered my cell phone, my purse.. anything as collateral to get him in to help me. Instead what happened was rude behavior from the employees that in turn made my friend mad and the whole incident turned into a screaming match and resulted in me not getting my plates. I know they are plagued with upset people all day long, but to be so callous and uncaring is uncalled for. The city needs to use multiple lots instead of contracting with just one.. customer service and care increases with competition. I hope I never have to cross paths with the employees at Capital Towing ever again. read more

I recently came home at 6 PM only to find that someone had parked in my reserved garage at my apartment complex. The office was closed at this time so I went ahead and called Capital towing to see if they could get the car moved. The person on the phone was so nice and helpful. I had anticipated waiting around for a long time for the driver to get here but to my surprise they were here within a half hour. The driver was also very nice and worked very hard to get the car moved quickly. I hope I never have to call these people again but if I do at least I know I will get some very hardworking people. read more

DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED HERE IF IT IS YOUR CHOICE. Horrible experience. This place is the biggest scam I have ever seen. The workers are extremely incompetent and smoke in the office. They will ignore you and talk about anyone walking to their car. They don't have answers to any of your questions so be prepared to leave angry. Don't do business with this company. The customer service rep is horrible and disrespectful. They obviously take advantage of customers who are pregnant and in need of special services. My daughter needed a tow 1 block and was charged a full fee. When we attempted a discount she insisted my daughter could not get one since she did not initially request it. I explained that a nice gentleman called in the tow and once their employee arrived he asked for a discount. However, this woman on the phone just argued for the sake of arguing and then insisted I was the rude party. Customer service is helping others, and not arguing with your customer. She claims she has customer service skills. However, arguing with a customer is NOT a customer skill. I understand the city uses this company for their police needs. Do we as citizens want our tax dollars going to a company like this? I don't think we do. read more

Here is where it started. My vehicle was towed by Capital Towing because my wife parked our car apparently in a no "parking zone" not to mention the sign was 90 feet away from where she parked. At first these idiots told us we could pay $98.00 to get our car back, but soon changed their minds when I ask for Lincoln Police to arrive. They decided then I couldn't get our car because they were towing it to the tow lot about 6 miles away from where we were at. It was cold and blowing snow they made us walk the 6 miles in the snow with our 4 year old son and didn't even care. In fact the driver was sitting there laughing at us. All I can say to that Capital driver is: "Karma, will turn around and bite you!" In the end it all worked out the City agreed our vehicle shouldn't have been towed and returned all of our money. I do have this to say tho... If I came across two of these driver's getting the crap kicked out of them and I only had the chance to save one and only one. I know it wouldn't be the sperm donor that tried to call himself a father. I think I would just have to decide if I wanted cheese on my hamburger or not. read more
