Not only movies: there is a cat rescue on site that takes care of dozens of them, with housing and cat tunnels scattered on the property. seriously, check out this place! It's a typical small town theatre - 2 theatres with screens only slightly larger than your widescreen at home. Super long and skinny which is kind of odd. I love it here! The owners do so much for their patrons! They play a cartoon just as dusk…read moreapproaches, so you never have to hear horns honking. They will cover your headlights if they can't be turned off. They have radios to borrow, if your stereo doesn't work. They have lots to help keep the bugs away, even screens for your windows. Toys in the play area for kids too! They have lots of great food, even a BBQ. I personally love the soft pretzel :) They give you ticket stubs with your entry and they do a raffle in intermission! So much fun! 2015, they are now digital! Up until now, they were the old reels and you were able to get a tour. They have upgraded out of necessity so I hope lots of us go and support them to keep this place alive!

I dock a star because there was a snag or hole in the screen which I almost mistook for being in the movie at one point! Service was good and the theater was nice and clean. I found the decor dated but I think the chain looks this way. at the entrance of the cinema there's a cute room for birthdays and such for kids which I really like. Popcorn was good and fresh and I was very pleased with the smoothies. One doesn't always associate theaters with smoothies.

Idk, man. The…read moremovies are fine but everything else is kinda not good. The food is absolutely mid outside of the popcorn which is fine. I guess. But it's such a dated theater. Terrible seats, not very good screens. I don't necessarily expect IMAX, but damn. My biggest complaint is the movie selection. They don't play many indie or smaller films, mostly just the big blockbusters, and that's disappointing when places like Sudbury get pretty much everything. Especially compared to North Bay. Honestly shocked they're playing Terrifier 3. A bit later than other theaters, but better than nothing.

As the biggest cinema in town, with 7 rooms, it still has not expanded enough to handle the crowds very well for a Saturday night. I arrived and out of the three automatic ticket machines, only 2 were working. A third of the arcade machines had "out of order" signs stuck on them. It took about 15 minutes to order at the food stand. On a late Friday viewing, it was okay, but the foyer is definitely uncomfortable for anyone with an inkling of claustrophia.

It doesnt have the all night long arcade feel...so it's a bit different in experience. The atmosphere was like an empty recreation center; but would that ruin your experience NOOOO! It means you get premium service with no upcharge. Seats are comfortable, patrons are friendly. Washrooms are definitely clean. For a Saturday morning with two grownups seeing ninja turtles we definitely enjoyed being kids without hearing the screaming kids. :)

They have the comfiest personal lounge chairs, which recline so you can lay down and relax. Friendly staff, one guy even offered to take my trash when I was going to throw it away. Prices are great at the concession stand, at least compared to other movie theatres. I had a great experience and would visit again whenever I'm in Barrie.
