Le Petit Tarte (ah!) serves food all day. Their breakfast selections are simple, but well-executed, especially the eggs benedict. They also serve great salads and sandwiches, among other savory treats, that can be enjoyed until the café closes at 6PM. But as the name suggests, the homemade tarts and cakes are what people come here for. So screw that diet you're on, you must have a least one sampling of their cakes pastries. The barista was friendly and the Grinders coffee she served me wasn't bad at all. Even though I ordered a takeaway coffee, I was allowed to sit in for a little while in the tiny dining area. It seemed welcoming on first sight, but it just doesn't have that cosy cafe feeling and not a place I would normally wile away my afternoon. Overall this is a great morning coffee stop for city workers and perfect for takeaway orders. They also serve cafe lunch fare, but not sure what its like. Let me know if any good! :)
