I was told an hour for delivery then i received a call an hour later that the driver is heading to me but was stopped by a train to give him a couple minutes. I then called 30 minutes later and was told the driver had 2 deliveries to do before heading to me after being told he was heading straight to me. They told me they were going to call the driver and find out where he's at and they will call me straight back. I never heard back nor was my pizza ever delivered. read more

Since moving down the plaza the pizza has been more consistent in taste. The new location is amazing and a huge upgrade. The delivery drivers are well informed by the cashier ahead of time if a tip is added as in the past a single delivery driver would expect a tip or even ask for one. That has all stopped. This is my go to pizza for my area, I just wish it was cut better by the time it comes to my house the cutting has already melted over again. Hot Pizza!!! OK they have really changed for the better. The food is much improved. The pizza is very good the fried chicken is very good, the cod fish is very good, and the shrimp too. The spaghetti, and the meat and cheese raviolis are very good. The appetizers are very good too. The Italian beef sandwiches are good too. The chicken tenders are very good. I have liked the stuffed pizza too. I am sad the meat balls for the pasta were too hard and in need of flavor. The Italian sausage was bland. The ribs need a better sauce. We ordered a medium sausage and mushroom pizza. It was okay. Wife says it wasn't over sauced. Personally, I found it a tad salty judging from the slight pain I awaken with in my head after a short prime-time nap. (Strokes are no joke, so watch your sodium intake.) The sauce really didn't lend anything to promote the overall flavor of the pizza in my opinion. I wish I had a better report. Although I've been here on a few remote occasions previously, I see no reason to make this a routine choice for a pizza stop. I think better can be discovered elsewhere. It will require more research of the region. Aurelia's is just further down the road. read more

I actually live near the sister store which is run by the cousins and it way out past Joliet in Shorewood IL. Same pizza ,chicken and food there too. The family is involved in both stores. I've had Capri's pizzas multiple times over the years at events, but I had never really noticed the pizzas were from Capri's until recently. I've mostly had their standard-crust pizza, which is a thinner and crispier crust than the average pizza--my family's preference. I've had their margherita pizza from their Schererville location, and today I had a custom mushroom-pineapple one, which was actually a very good combination and about $20 for XL. I walked into the small, homey store front today and noticed how many workers and customers were there--very popular place on a Sunday evening. Went with a few guys from work. Got some slices of pizza and a couple meatball sandwiches. The slices were ok, but the sandwiches were not good. the sauce was a bit bland, but the meat balls were just horrible. super fine ground, tasted almost like fake meat. not good at all. both of the sandwiches got half eaten and thrown out.
