Visited Wilmington for the first time while on vacation in Topsail Beach. I've always enjoyed river cruises - great to see cities from the water, learn a bit about the history and culture, take some photos, and just enjoy the atmosphere. This 45 minute narrated cruise was not worth the $10 ticket and I realized later that the boat is really just a water taxi to the USS North Carolina. It was nice being on the water and seeing Wilmington from the river, but the narration literally consisted of "here's the courthouse" and "there's a tanker." I'm not even a local and I could have provided more info in a more entertaining and interesting way. Family was bored. Not worth the price - skip it. read more

jasons Run was WAY too fast and the quick turns made me lose balance. They need to SLOW down... I do not recommend!
