As the name suggests, soup is the primary focus but make sure you order a couple side dishes to get the full Beautiful Soup experience. What does this mean? Each dish is prepared with the UTMOST care & attention to detail (from the ingredients, plating and menu design). WHAT I LOVE MOST is everything is made from scratch, seasonal & local ingredients are used (means the menu* changes each time), the price is just right ($12 will get you soup, 2 sides, and dessert & the portions are well balanced), everything is scrumptious, AND most importantly the TLC that goes into making each dish really shines thru - love it! FAVORITE DISHES: Cauliflower Fritters, Quinoa Salad, Kale & Brussels Sprout Salad, Harvest Frittata....oh and try any of their desserts - ALL are excellent! FAVORITE SOUPS: Lemon Rice, Pumpkin, Lemony Lentil and Mulligatawny. They are a good options for a bit of a healthier alternative to lunch. They have a good selection of wraps, salads and three daily soups. Today, I went in the afternoon on my lunch, and ordered the Greek Wrap, which included a mix of iceburg and romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, feta, red onions, and olives (which I omitted) and a choice of dressing, I chose the creamy Greek feta dressing all on a whole wheat wrap. The three ladies who were working, all made part of my wrap, adding the ingredients to making the wrap itself. They were fast and efficient when I went to order to pay for my wrap. The prices are really expensive though, for a wrap, and even for the salads. So this is a once in a while kind of treat for me. I'm sure it's a better deal if you order one of their combo's, which I did not because none of the soups appealed to me today. With taxes my wrap came to over $8. Service is fast, efficient and friendly while being delicious all at the same time. Apparently there are two other locations here in Windsor, but this location here in the mall is the closest one for me to get to. Definitely will come back if I feel like trying another wrap, or a salad.

This place is absolutely my vibe. The staff are fantastic, friendly, and very skilled at their jobs. Beverages were refilled, we were checked in with, and felt taken care of. The real star of the show was the food. I came with two of my sons, and we all really enjoyed our ramen bowls. I had the pork belly tonkatsu, one of my sons had the catfish tonkatsu, and the other had the red curry. I absolutely recommend this restaurant, and will be returning very soon!

Hubby and I laughed at how many times we zipped past the restaurant without noticing it. My husband and I both ordered the Major Tom Khatsu, which has a coconut chicken broth base. The chicken katsu pieces were the perfect level of crispy without being heavily breaded. There was also a nice little kick to the dish, which made it so, so yummy. Our friends got the Shoyu ramen with pork belly, and the Corned Beef ramen. The Shoyu dish seemed to be more enjoyable. Though we stuck with water, cans of Faygo pop seemed to be the drink offerings - other than alcoholic beverages. Areas for improvement include the waiting. Johnny Noodle King is a small place, with a main dining area and then what seems to be a bar area attached. We initially waited by the door for our table along with another small group (we were a party of four). We were then asked to go to the bar area to wait so that it would clear the door, but found it interesting how we were asked to move but not the other group. Also, we were standing away from the doormat we were not obstructing anyone's movements. The wait was long, and we asked if we could order food to the bar area (as opposed to waiting for a table). We were told 'no', yet there was a table full of patrons who were eating. There was no notification system, so our friend had to keep going to the front to see if our table was ready. Don't get me wrong; 'hooray' to Johnny Noodle King for having such great business volume. However, they need a way to manage it so that people will not be put off. Once we were seated, we did have good service from our waitstaff, and the food was very good. My husband and I plan to return to explore more of the menu. Hopefully, we can pick a time of day when waiting won't be such a big issue.
