The exhibit is right next to the large lake in Memorial Park and has a large parking lot nearby for easy access. You can also walk around the park if it is a nice day for an extra treat. The main part of the exhibit is a chunk of the actual Berlin Wall. There are a few other artifacts and displays in the open air exhibit that document the history of the wall and the legacy of the Cold War. While it is important to understand this time in global history, the exhibit is just a taste rather than a full meal. If you are in the park on a beautiful day, meander over to the Berlin Wall Exhibit for a brief history lesson.

The entire exhibit is located outdoors. The exhibit is small, but still very educational and well put together. The highlight of the exhibit is two actual sections of the Berlin Wall and two tank traps. There is ample parking since it shares the civic center parking. I recommend parking along the entry drive if you can. It is right by the exhibit. It is a nice stop, very peaceful. I spent about 15 to 20 minutes there and then moved on to the park which is directly behind it.

There is something for everyone, our family spent about an hour browsing the store and could have been there longer if we had all day! Bought a few unique pieces as gifts and for myself as well. And those two beer stations had 1 PERSON working at each. 1 of the stations was a beer cart with 6 tubs & the poor girl working could not keep up, as she had to put beer in the ice from the 12 packs laying laying on the pavement. ( Ithink you get the picture) For an AFT Event, I guess I expected things to be a bit more organized, so things run smoothly. And I heard A LOT of comments which were very negative. I know this is a dirt track but.......the dust was inexcusable to say the least. Had to leave early…read morebecause one third of the track could not be seen we were also covered in dust. For a special event like the Sprint Cars I thought it would be more prep on the track. There are a lot of good examples around the country of dirt track maintenance. Maybe it's too expensive. Loved the facility but not the dust. Sorry.
