He gave us the basic facts regarding the vehicle, which we had already read up about, as we had said, we were comparing the Hilux, BT50 and Ranger for the last month before we decided to take the plunge and test drive. This was the critical point of decision - he gave us the base model Ranger to drive. It was cheap feeling and noisy. He said, "yes, it's surprisingly noisy, but floor mats will help that". When we got back from the test drive, we asked if we could perhaps price out the model that we're actually after, and he said it was easier to do that from our computer at home. We left feeling rather disillusioned, as my husband was quite set on the Ranger. The next day we went to Torque Toyota at Strathpine. We mentioned we were cash buyers, they let us test drive the top of the range Hilux with all the options we were after, and we were really impressed with their customer service. Hamish was laid back, but helpful and naturally friendly. The test drive vehicle even had a leather interior, which we decided was a nice extra. We take delivery of the new Hilux within the next month. Considering we were 90% set on buying a Ford the day before, I think that the sales person at Ford really destroyed any hope of a sale that day, and I'm glad. I just wonder how many other sales have been lost because of his poor, slovenly attitude

I am happy to say that Aussie Auto on Pickering Street in Alderley is definitely one you can trust, just good old fashioned honest and reliable service. The team here are very pleasant and really flexible! I don't know how many times I have booked my car in for a service and then had to cancel/reschedule at the last minute. I have a Rav 4 and a standard service for me usually costs around $140 and includes a full inspection of the vehicle, a minor detail, engine de-grease and car wash! The little extra niceties make all the difference.

They do good, well priced mechanic work, but they also sell car parts at very cheap prices (cheaper if you're trade). I imagine this would be the perfect combo for home car buffs - get the advice and cheap parts, and if it's too hard bring it in for them to finish off.

Vehicle was towed to Sunco Hyundai Dealership at Maroochydore and I was told would be fixed in 1 week but later told 2 months as a new motor had to come from Korea. I was given a Avis hire car but found when checking the paperwork that there was a $2500 Excess so returned the vehicle and was left without a vehicle for nearly 2 months. I requested in writing that Northside Hyundai to either give me a replacement new vehicle or a full refund and put a complaint in with Fair Trading Qld but this was refused. Vehicle was then given back to me after repair and my mechanic then discovered that when new motor had been installed the driveshaft oil seal had been damaged and the heater hose also damaged and reinstalled. I then took the vehicle to Lakes Hyundai Dealership and they tried to repair but left the engine bolts loose. Car was driven for one month with a loose engine and taken back to Hyundai several times before it was discovered they had forgotten to do up the bolts. I then got the vehicle back only to discover the motor was overheating and has an oil leak and I called RACQ who also discovered fuel injector leak, noisy tappets and suspected electrical wiring fault and vehicle returned to Northside Hyundai. Car is still with Northside Hyundai as I have written to them and rejected the car due to many major faults with the engine under Australian Consumer Law and have requested either a full refund or a new replacement vehicle as per Hyundai Warranty and have been offered a new replacement vehicle but they are requiring me to pay them $3000 which I have refused. One month and one week have passed since returning the vehicle and I have been given a loan car by Northside Hyundai which is a Hyundai Accent the basic model but there is still no resolution in sight. Buyer beware!!!! The Hyundai warranty is not worth the paper it is written on as they will try to repair instead of refunding or replacing and it appears that every time the dealers work on your car they only seem to make it worst.

Rip off and unprofessional…read more I ordered a new tyre from Northside Honda on 21/11/18 for $295. I went in to pick it up today and was given the 'rubber' tyre only. I don't know much about cars but I was expecting, either the new tyre comes with rims or that Honda will fit the tyre onto my rims. None of the above happen. The staff just put the rubber into my car and was happy for me to drive off. I was then told there might be additional charges to put the rubber onto my rims. After speaking with other staff members, it was confirmed that the cost of $295 includes the rubber tyre and fitting, but this can't be done today so I have to go back next week. I am dissatisfied that I wasted an hour driving to Northside Honda just to be given a piece of rubber for $295, and later told that there might be additional charges for the fitting. Honda employees should be more professional and knowledgeable. They should know their products, that a new tyre purchased includes the rubber tyre and fitting. I am also dissatisfied that I had to paid for the tyre today when nothing has been done. And, that I still have to go back next week to get it fitted. This is unnecessary stress and could have been avoided had Northside Honda's employees been more professional and educated on their products and services.

Only to find out later from a mechanic that the compressor was bad and had a leak. Car is still good but not having AC in the summer is rough. I'd only recommend this place if you need a low cost car but to have some mechanical skills or a mechanic you can take the car to after for a second opinion.

For example my family member was quoted $3000 for faulty breaks, axle, throttle body etc by another mechanic. I took it to Kedron for second opinion and they could not fault the car. Another example with my dad when Toyota told him that his van needs a new Axle and bushings cause it was cracked. He took it to Neville, who showed there were No cracks or damage, even took photos of it to show it to Toyota. Great people! Esp. Neville and Russell.

No refund. Took it to another workshop, and found 3 leaks, one of them caused by Kedron Car Electrics and Air Conditioning by overtightening a nut after regassing it. They regassed a leaky system. NO REFUND.... Dont be silly like i was and take your car here
