The owner (Billy/Virgilio) is not only a super nice and friendly guy, it turns out he's also a neighbor as we both live in Miami Springs. I figured if my car was going to be in the shop for a few days, I might as well have it leave looking like new. Billy and his team did a great job not only fixing the forklift dent, but also fixing another scrape I had on the other fender. Plus, they detailed my car for a good price and even buffed out a light scratch I had on the passenger side. My car is five years old but it hasn't looked this good since the day I drove it off the lot. Kicking myself for not taking before/after pictures!! But trust me, it's superb work. It's summer in South Florida, so I needed to get my car windows tinted. I reached out to a friend…read morefor a recommendation and I was told this place did good work. I called to get more information about the options and prices. I spoke to Jimmy and from what I understand, he is the owner. He explained the different options and price points. I agreed to come in Monday morning. Upon arriving to the shop I met with a young man at the desk. I explained that I spoke to Jimmy a few days before and came in to get my car windows tinted. The young man quoted me with different prices than was already given. For example with Jimmy the starting rate was $190, with this young man the starting rate was $240 an almost 30% mark up. I do not like dishonesty and I definitely don't respect any business taking advantage of people. I explained to the young man that I was quoted a different price and if he did not plan on honoring it then I needed to speak to the owner. Three calls were made to the owner and there was no answer. At this point I was ready to walk. The young man had an about face and stated he would complete the job at the price the owner quoted me at. I found this very disingenuous. I must admit he did a good job despite the initial attempting to haggle me in the beginning. When I checked in there was a $30 off Yelp discount but he reported he has never seen it before and could not process it. I wish more business respected 'word of mouth' referrals as it's the best way to get people in your door. A word of advice being honest and consistent is always the best business practice. I will be hesitant to refer here.
