Our first time here since the COVID-19 pandemic has taken hold in Brazil. The home center seems well-prepared to deal with the "new normal" that we face. Before entering, an employee takes your temperature and they provide hand sanitizer to customers before entering.
The store is large, so it's easy to stay at a distance from other patrons. All of the employees use masks, and customers are not allowed in without one. They could do bit more though: unlike most other stores in this part of Brazil, they do not have plastic shields between the cashiers and customers at check-out. I also did not personally witness any employees sanitizing any of the shopping carts or baskets (that doesn't mean they don't do it, I just didn't see it).
Overall, I'd say you're probably safe to shop here, as long as you are taking your own precautions as well. read more
