The board game, Carcassonne, holds a special place in our hearts so when we heard there was a Carcassonne themed pub in Brasilia it was a no-brainer! The experience lived up to the expectation! We came on a Wednesday evening which happened to be burger night. Usually there is a 15 real cover charge but if you agree to spend an adequate sum on food and drinks the cover is waived (I can't quite remember the exact amount, but it was reasonable).
The burgers were fantastic, and more importantly the beer card was cleverly calculated with a variety of international options, mostly Belgian-style. We opted for a local white beer brewed by the pub itself. Delicious! The rest of the food menu looked great as well.
More than anything else, our hearts were warmed by the fantastic staff. They treated us as friends and we really enjoyed the conversations we shared. They make thoughtful board game suggestions and even explain the directions.
We left with big smiles on our faces! Check it out. Also, there is a Carcassonne Bistro around the corner which features fine food. We didn't get a chance to try it but will when we return to Brasilia.
