I received a beautiful bunch of flowers from here for my Birthday in December and they lasted for absolutely ages, it was such a beautiful addition to my living room, I would love to have fresh flowers in my house all the time (if I could afford it!) They also have small gifts which can be sent, such as boxes of chocolates, and small decorative items such as ornaments and Christmas decorations.

We've been using Abbey for what feels like forever at least when the need arises. They're very popular with couples getting married around the area as they offer a really brilliant service. There's a wide variation of flowers, all beautifully arranged, and you can take advantage of their delivery service. My mum simply raves about the flowers she buys from here, apparently they last longer than any other!

They are no cheaper than other florists but the staff as described above along with their mixture of little to no decent stock makes me go elsewhere these days even though they are literally about a 2 minute walk from where I live. This is the sort of place where actually buying anything from them is a real chore rather than anything resembling a decent or even ok experience. If they perhaps focused more on providing some sort of service along with some form of stock rather than jamming their shop full of non florist related items such as handbags for example?? I would happily drive 10 minutes to a good florist than walk 2 minutes to this place, actually I would rather drive 30 minutes than go here. Woeful!

They sell a large range of greetings cards for every occasion and situation imaginable! They also have a beautiful range of wrapping paper, bows, gift bags, tape etc. They are much better equipped than even some of the larger card stores in terms of the gifts available to buy. They have all the usual cute teddies, keyrings and pens with your name on, and glasses and mugs emblazoned with 18, 21, 30 etc, however they do a really good range of board games, calendars, larger toys, decorative frames etc Alongside this, they have lots of goods in the mood of the current season, for example costumes, wigs, and masks etc at Halloween. Great addition to the De Courcy centre and definitely a good reaon to support local businesses!

Premises based on what was a family home make this an attractive shop to browse around and go from…read moreroom to room. It gives the place a nice intimate feel. You can approach this shop from the street or via the courtyard that this building forms a frontage to. By the way don't miss out on what the courtyard has to offer enclosed as it is by a selection of uniquely individual shops and a rather nice cafe/delicatessen. Coming back to this gift shop, I found there was plenty gift ware and jewellery on display enough to keep my interest for over an hour and its all so beautifully displayed, you could not help but enjoy yourself. It was just before Christmas and I was able to pick up some gifts for friends and relatives and the prices were not bad!
