Since the switch, I waited an hour & a half in the facility to be seen AFTER making an appt & filling out the registration paperwork. I was very satisfied overall. The receptionist was very professional and extremely patient. When i was sent to the back for the checkup the nurse and doctor were also very kind and professional. Love when you're hurting and the medical pro's understand your needs. They feel and understand your discomfort and pain. I spent my time there with three professionals Asha, Jiona and Karlee they couldn't of been more kind. The doctor was very nice but the rest of the staff didn't care to listen to me. I tried to explain my prescription to the nurse who clearly didn't know what the antibiotic was, or what it treated, but she seemed to think she knew and told the doc false information . When the doc finally came in she understood my needs and was happy to fill the prescription as I requested. when I went to leave I was told to pay a copay. Itold the receptionist I shouldn't have to pay with my insurance but was told "we stopping doing that a long time ago". They also allow patients who are symptomatic with covid to be in the lobby with those who are there without covid. The seats are not cleaned either. Over 2 hours to have something simple done. This place is a joke. Then entire network of care nows are a joke. They should not be allowed to be called urgent care. I've 1.5 hrs is my normal wait here and have waited up to 2 hrs. There's nothing urgent about the care here. I will never come to another one. I was waiting to get my covid test almost 2 hrs. The lady never told me how long it will be. I would've definitely tried other places. They send you to your car to wait. Then you see the PA or nurse practitioner for 5 minutes. They have no concern fir the patient. This morning I walked into Care Now with some pretty severe anxiety issues. The person who checked me in was kind and helpful. The nurse who took me to the room was also kind and helpful and understood my needs. And then I met PA S. Gutierrez. At almost 59 years old and a mental health professional myself I know quality people when I meet them. Dr. Gutierrez was kind, sweet, patient and so knowledgeable about the issues I was experiencing. I had excellent care and would absolutely return to see Dr Gutierrez for any concerns....he is a gem!!!! I went there waited after I even had a Appt. a long time. Then the nurse took me asked questions, my knee I twisted badly. They took a X-ray and then said you need a MRI but still could not work they said go back to work and walk on it. not a good diagnosis. Don't bother checking in to wait at home as advertised on website. You will get a confirmation that you are checked in and will be notified when to come in. I do not write many reviews. But if I would give this place a 0 out of 5 if possible. We moved here from Las Vegas and we tried vaccinating our children and after the first two ending up in the hospital and very sick from reaction we decided to hold off and follow council of our primary care pediatrician. To be clear, this is not an anti vaccine post. We are very much pro vaccine, generally speaking and are fully vaccinated. Our 9 year old has not been and we were hoping to vaccinate when he turns 18. Unfortunately, he stepped on a rusty nail and it went through his foot. This clinic had no problem treating our son until they found out that he has not been vaccinated. When they received that information they informed us that in no way would they administer a Tetanus shot. In other words, they were willing to stand by as our son goes through a potentially fatal reaction when they have the ability to treat it. This decision not only was made by the nurse handling the call but it was confirmed at the physician/management level. The exact same clinic on Port St. Lucie BLVD happily treated our Son. (CareNow off Saint Lucie West was not willing to administer a life saving Vaccination because of politics) read more

i would recommend that you go some where else for care, i fell and went to them, my upper left arm was really hurting, after i fell i could not move it very well, it really hurt, so i went, they said i just bruised it, i told them that no i know it is more then that, they took an x-ray, and said nothing wrong, went home . This place was pathetic. I waited three hours to see a physicians assistant who didn't even know what the prescriptions I needed written were. The staff/ nurse was very rude which was crazy after knowing I waited 3 hours. They didn't watch as people took off their masks and were standing close together. Many there for Covid. This is an unsafe and horrible place. I will never go there again. Horrible horrible horrible. I've got to say, this is hands down the best urgent care experience I've ever had. I went with my fiancé who had an issue with his skin. They helped us locate his insurance because we didn't have our updated insurance card, promptly took him back and allowed me to come along. Nancy Caterina was INCREDIBLE. I came here with my wife thinking it as a MD Now, but it is a Care Now. They are transitioning to MD Now! My wife came because she was complaining of severe flu symptoms, and chest congestion, and since she has a history of neumonía we didn't want to take any chances. We did not have an appointment, but the lady at the counter says it would be about an hour. The place had 3 people at the time. An hour later my wife asked and the same lady says, "oh no I didn't say an hour, it will be much longer" After 1.5 hora the called her in and told her she needed to take a Covid/Flu test first ok! It took another 30 min for someone to give her the test, and she was told that in 10 min they would have the result. 30 min later still nothing! Since we arrived, 1 more person without an appointment arrived with a flu, and she was taken care of left within 1.5 hours. I could see at least 4 people talking and joking at the desk, so it can't be that slammed. 45 min later they had the results. Negative for everything! Just a sinus infection they stayed. Almos 3 hours later we finally got out. Hopefully when this changes to MD now it will have a better management. Period. This is the last time I come here. read more

I literally knew what I had when I went there twice, they diagnosed me wrong both those times. And both times I've had to go to the hospital to get the care I needed after going to them. I usually got to a urgent care if it's not a big deal and I just need antibiotics or something. But unfortunately they can't even do that. The staff here is very kind though. Urgent cares are never fun, but I can say this experience was effortless! I had an incident with the bread knife on Sunday evening about 30 minutes prior to the clinic closing. I called on the way, they took my back right away, I was seen, taken care of, paperwork completed and out the door in 20 minutes! On my initial visit, my husband and I had the misfortune of stopping here later in the afternoon on the same day they had to update their computers. I was in enough discomfort to stick it out for the 4 and a half hours we waited (instead of going to the ER), after which time we were met with a seemingly knowledgeable ARNP. We got our scripts for lab work and imaging and called it good. After getting the imaging done the following afternoon the results were sent same day later in the evening well before closing of the urgent care here. We called the next day for an update but were told PIC never received it. We called again the next day and nothing. We finally called first thing on the third day and we're told if the results had been sent they were lost. After squaring everything away with the imaging office to resend the results both my husband and I were again calling regularly to see if the doctor here at PIC had read the radiologist's report. After almost 72 hours of waiting, we felt it wasn't unreasonable to have a word, any word, about what was going on so we'd know what to do next. Ultimately we came back in hopes of speaking directly with someone only to be told it was a long wait again and we'd had 6 people ahead of us. After 2 hours it had finally come our turn by then the damage was done. In the few days I d been feeling ill I'd lost over 10lbs as I couldn't consumer anything more solid than scrambled eggs. The pain in my abdomen had barely subsided, my sleep had been atrocious at worst and sleepless at best. And yet we waited having to listen to how "ridiculous" it was that someone ahead of us up and left after they had "just" been checked in. ........"just"? How long ahead of us had they been waiting? Both my husband and I work in the medical field so we understand the frustration behind changes in our interfaces and programs..... but how is that our problem as patients? No one is giving you grief, even though many would be in their right to do so. In addition, don't openly express anything to do with other patients (i.e. A sour attitude at their leaving, or anything to do with their care) when sitting at the front desk. Almost 80 hours of total time elapsed for someone to simply tell me what the hell is wrong and why I've been in such pain? One star...... read more
