My late father was here in 2010. He passed away here. There are some top of the line nurses such as Bobbie (an older lady on nights) & Chuck. They were wonderful! Anne, however, was a nightmare. She treated my dad horribly. I filed a complaint with the D.O.N. & made sure she was never to care for my father again. She said mean & nasty things to him which he reported to me. I confronted her & she denied these things, but as luck would have it, I caught her in the act one day. She has a poor bedside manner & would always be very nasty when my dad needed suctioned. (He was on a vent). I wouldn't let her "care" for my worst enemy. Now, as mentioned before, Chuck & Bobbie were angelic in their treatment of my dad. Also, the aides were so nice & caring. So this place could be good or bad- depending on who is taking care of your loved one.

The care they received was very poor, probably a 2.5 star on this site. After their passing, Kimes changed hands and became a Medicare facility. We'd heard that they had greatly improved, and were pleased to hear that they offered a rehabilitation ward as well as a nursing home ward. The only change that had occurred was a steep drop in quality. Dropping from the low level of quality they were maintaining already means they've hit rock bottom and started drilling. My grandmother went into the rehabilitation ward after a period of hospitalization. She lived at Kimes for one week. During that time, the nurses: - messed up her medications - completely screwed up her medication schedule - prepared the foods she was specifically NOT to eat - failed to prepare her foods properly (pureed - my grandmother couldn't swallow solid foods) - promised to call in prescriptions for my grandmother then failed to do so - failed to give my grandmother the physical therapy she was supposed to receive on a daily basis - tried to keep her an extra week, despite the Medicare nurse's recommendation to the contrary All in one week. IN ONE WEEK. Not to mention that the nurses never opened her window curtains for her during the day, despite repeated requests that they do so, and the light in her room was burned out and never fixed, despite multiple work orders requested, so she stayed in this dark, awful, cave-like environment while trying to recover her strength. When you have a loved one who is ill and needs care, the last thing you want is to feel like you have to be with them in the rehabilitation facility 24/7 to keep the nurses from killing her with either inattention or incompetence. I'm completely fed up with Kimes and wish from the bottom of my heart that they'd close down or fire everyone and hire a competent staff. Don't mess with people's loved ones, Kimes. Care for them like they're family. That's what you're SUPPOSED to do.

10/10 do NOT recommend, and neither does anyone I know. I went to Freed chiropractic for back pain…read more Dr. Freed billed my insurance and told me it would be a certain amount. However, when it was time to pay, he had overcharged me immensely and was charging more than what he would charge someone for a regular in visit. (over $55 per appointment) I would frequently hear him talking on the phone and arguing with customers during my appointment, which was very distracting and also telling of how he does business and treats people. He is not transparent and neither is the receptionist, Trina, who handles insurance services. When I confronted Dr. Freed and the receptionist about their lack of transparency, they didn't have much to say or explain themselves. It was obvious they did this all the time. I have talked to several people in the area who had chiropractic care with him, and they have all had similar and fraudulent accounts. I would never go back to this chiropractor and wouldn't want anyone else to be subject to the crooked business this chiropractic office has been getting away with for a long time. During my visits, Dr. Freed was constantly busy and it was obvious he had a lot of customers. He didn't seem to care for individuals or show personal concern for his clients, he basically just did everything as fast as possible. It's apparent his values are money and not human beings.
