I started off looking at a used Ford F-350 on 10/28/2025 that I scheduled to view. I got to test drive the truck. Looking at the numbers on paper, I decided it was more than what I wanted to spend at that time. Told my sales person no. (620-203-3974) Then I get a call from the general sales manager(620-203-3693) (it gets better), I told him that I do not want to spend the money. He would not take no for an answer and kept pushing that I needed to buy it. (I was already on road heading home) The following week, 11/3/2025, I called the same sales person(620-203-3974) that I was in contact with and met in person. I would like to proceed to purchase the Ford F-350 electronically. I wasn't able to make a multi hour drive back to Garden City to buy in person. First off, they needed a deposit of 1,000 dollars before papers could be generated. The deposit was made with a credit card. Come to find out, there was a 30 dollar extra fee that was NOT DISCLOSED for using a credit card. Keeps going down hill from this point. Many calls later to keep as short as possible got in an argument with the General sales manager(620-203-3693). Told him I was not going to do business with him. After a few days on 11/10/25, I received a call from my sales person(620-203-3974). What went wrong with the deal. The three biggest were 1. The General sales manager attitude, 2. The UNDISCLOSED interest rate I was going to have when they originally said "good rate". 3. The undisclosed 30 dollar credit card fee. Before finishing the call, she said I would receive my 1,000 deposit back. So, I waited until 12/15/2025 to ask why I did not get my deposit back. I contacted my sales person(620-203-3974) to ask this question. She said it would come back in the form of a check. 12/23/2025 comes around, I am tired of waiting. I called the General sales manager (620-203-3693) to ask if a check had been sent. The general sales manager(620-203-3693) starts to say the deposit would go back on the credit card. He got VERY rude on the phone with me telling me this. I have waited over 2 months to get my money back and still have NOT GOT IT BACK (no sign of the original deposit or fee). I have called the General Manager(620-203-2219) and left a voice mail to call me back on 12/23/2025 and the same sales person I have been in contact with before. Haven't got a call back from either one at all. I have been lied to many times, but the general sales manager will deny that I have been lied to. I cannot type enough details to tell what kind of dishonest business tactics that Legacy Auto Center of Garden City is. I did not list the peoples' names, just their phone numbers off the company website.
