Seafood hot pot (I forgot to take the lid off!)

My husband & I stayed at Elysian and we were hesitant to try Caribbean Fish Market after reading the mixed reviews but I am happy we decided to try it because we had a great experience. Both our meals were great & service was quick and super attentive. My husband had the stuffed lobster & I had the Seafood Hot Pot. The Calamari was also delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. We also hung out at the bar a couple nights since we stayed at Elysian. Nice clean bar and good company.

I loved the Beachfront dining experience and atmosphere of the restaurant. We sat outside and our waiter Jerry was incredible. Food and drinks were impressive. We ordered the Smashed Cucumber, Lamb Lollipops, Wedge Salad, Grilled Prawns and the Grouper. After eating all that and several drinks, we had a short uphill walk back to our hotel next door.

This restaurant is a must! Food is always good. My only complaint is for happy hour it says bar and courtyard area. But if you sit on the sofa's which one would consider to be the courtyard you can't partake of the happy hour menu. Especially when the bartender service this area! Always a nice vibe! Love the sofa area cozy for a date! Gives outside/inside feel without being bothered by the cats and birds. A little pricey but the flavor is worth it. $70lb for snapper. I've eaten here before but never remember those prices. But it was my fiancé first time and I had raved about so we were committed! And the coconut cake is a MUST!!! Chef Kiss!!!

This restaurant is actually located on the B property of the resort we are start at. So we have come here a few times already. We have only sat in the bar area for dinner. They have a good Happy Hour from 5 pm to 7 pm. So for drinks we have gone there but stayed to enjoy dinner. Their menu is pretty good with plenty of options to choose from. From their appetizers to salads to main courses you simply can't go wrong!! The Ahi Tuna Nachos are amazing! The calamari is perfection. The Eggplant Frites as very tasty. Just know when they first come out they are HOT. Give them a few minutes to cool off. Main courses I have tried were the Everything Salmon. It was Devine and I would definitely order it again. The second dinner night we went I did the Pad Thai. Wow!! Was that delightful and so full of flavor. We will likely return at least once more before our trip is over and I have no doubt it will not disappoint!! Service is always amazing as well. Even when they get busy and yes they get very busy they are still super nice and attentive. The open air restaurant is also very nice and when you catch a nice breeze it makes it even better!! Apparently everything looked so good I didn't take pictures of it all ‍

I ate several meals at this restaurant because of its vicinity to the condo i stayed at. It is a bit pricey but the decent reviews are warranted. The service is always friendly even if it gets busy with over-served patrons in the bar (to be fair, most were probably self-over-served prior to arrival). The seafood is fantastic-fresh caught wahoo was my favorite but the grouper was also very tasty. The dining room and bar are open air but kept comfortable with shade and plenty of fans. They are open for dinner daily but also have a Sunday brunch.

This is really a jewel in St. Thomas. My wife and I had dinner the first night of our weeklong vacation and we were very pleased with the selections, service, and atmosphere. My wife ordered the stuffed pork chop and I ordered the lemon baked 1/2 chicken. We were not disappointed. We will be back before we leave.

Shrimp and grits, soft shell crab BLT, brunch punch and Bloody Mary.

We went for Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. Garen was an excellent server and bartender. The brunch punch was refreshing and the bottomless Bloody Mary delicious. We had the soft shell crab BLT and the shrimp and grits. Both were very good. The views were spectacular.

Caribbean Fish Market was our second dinner on St. Thomas this trip. It is a "resort restaurant" meaning it's in a resort, and open to the general public. All things considered, it was pretty good! Karla was our waitress, she did a great job! Attentive, responsive, but not intrusive. Thanks Karla! We had a cocktail and started with the calamari appetizer... great calamari until you reached the bottom of the dish were the sauce laden calamari was soggy. We tried a couple of salads next... the watermelon salad and the shrimp wedge. Both salads were good, but suffered from an over abundance of sauces. On the watermelon salad, too much of the raspberry puree; on the wedge salad, too much dressing. Recommend you ask for the dressings on the side. We both ordered fish entrees, the sea bass and the grouper. Both fish were delicious, but again, the polenta/rice on the bottom of the dished swallowed the entrees. Sometimes less is more! We had a glass of Pinot Grigio and the key like pie for dessert. Wine was good, the key lime pie was better... the highlight of the evening. Good experience at CFM, but with so many other offerings on the island, we likely won't be back. As a "resort restaurant" it's more geared to residents than visitors.

Caribbean Fish Market was an absolute 10/10 across the board--food, ambience, and service. My mom and I loved every single thing we ordered. Everything came out beautifully cooked and seasoned with intention. I had the lobster entrée, and every bite truly melted in my mouth. My mom's steak was just as impressive--rich, tender, and full of flavor. A memorable meal from start to finish. If you are visiting the Islands, this place is a MUST TRY!

Underrated! This place is so good. Best Chilean sea bass I've ever had. The atmosphere is nice- right on the beach! Definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and taste makes it worth it!

    The view!!!

Beware of the Automatic Gratuity…read more We stopped at Hook'd USVI during our visit to St. Thomas. The location is great, the marina views are nice, and the food was okay. We ordered the Fish Tacos, Jerk Smashed Burger, and a Frozen Rum Runner. What future customers need to know is that Hook'd automatically added a 20% gratuity to our bill, even though we were not a large party. Then, at the bottom of the receipt, they included another tip guide suggesting 18%, 20%, and 22% tips. In my opinion, this is misleading. Many people are used to adding a tip when they receive the receipt and may not notice that a 20% gratuity has already been added. It's easy to accidentally tip twice. I have absolutely no issue rewarding good service, but restaurants should be upfront and transparent when gratuity is automatically included. Customers shouldn't have to carefully inspect the bill to avoid paying an extra 20% on top of an already-added 20%. The food was decent, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the billing practice left a bad impression. Before you sign your check, review it carefully and make sure you know exactly what has already been added. Bottom line: Decent food, nice location, but check your receipt closely. The automatic 20% gratuity and additional tip suggestions can easily lead to double tipping if you're not paying attention. I've attached a photo of the receipt so customers can see exactly what I'm referring to.

They have a bottomless mimosa option and this place feels like it would be a great brunch vibe Service: 4 stars. Staff was super nice and waitress was helpful in regards of what to order. There was an issue with steak being overcooked and they were able to replace it, but it did take taking to 3 different people, which I thought was weird Drinks: 3.5 stars. The Rum away with me was absolutely wonderful, but the White Russian was not good at all Food : 4.5 stars Steak and eggs was fantastic. We had to get the steak recooked, but when it was made well, it was a top shelf steak. Crab cakes: also would recommend! No notes here Breakfast burger:,really loved the fact that the patty was smashed. I was worried that there was too much going on but everything combined quite nicely. I got the breakfast potatoes and they weren't really anything special. Overall this place was a 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up to 5 because the vibe and views were immaculate

On the…read moreother, our last visit was quite bad that it's making me think about whether this place should be a 5-star or not. Based on food alone, this place merits nothing less than a 5-star. The services on the other hand were borderline. Ocean 180 is an upscale restaurant located in Point Pleasant resort. Husband was super excited to book the condo knowing that he would not have to drive around in search of a nice restaurant to bring me to for a couple of dinners during vacation. They have a brunch on Sundays which led us to our very first visit there. Nestled between tropical vegetation, the place screams peaceful dining experience and it was. We came right around the time they opened for brunch at 9am and we were immediately seated. Our view was perfect, a bit of the cool breeze and a mimosa were like icing on a cake. The waitress came by, took drink orders and told us there is another wait staff in training who will be assisting. He took over mostly after that. I ordered the pork belly which came with 2 fried eggs, crisp smashed potatoes and a simple salad. My husband had the tropical chopped salad served with creamy mango dressing. My pork belly was delicious, the potatoes were seasoned well and even the simple salad, was worth its own recognition. Yes, this place knows how to make great food! Minor mishap, the waiter in training was addressing my husband the whole time while I was trying to pay our bill and even brought my card back to my husband when it clearly has my name on it. Made me feel a bit weird as we're in 2025, not the 1950s. Okay. So, second visit was for dinner. I made reservations then got a call around 4pm to tell me that due to technical difficulties, they are only able to accept cash. Do I still want to keep my reservation? Yes. Fortunately, we carried some cash this vacation with the foresight of possibly needing them for local vendors and such. Again, we got in and seated quickly. Our waitress was fabulous and checked on us. My husband had the smoked old fashioned. It came in a contraption that was smoky. Very cool. I had a cocktail - the exotic tides which was gin, ginger, muddled cucumber and basil. I ordered the whole fish grilled and her butter basted with some ginger escabeche. Okay, this dish blew my mind. Also, I was really wanting to order a whole fish for one of my meals as I do not get to do this often anymore living in Midwest and I think I picked the best place who did this dish justice. My husband had the Morrocan braised lamb shank and he loved it! We ended our wonderful dinner with a chocolate creme brulee topped with toasted almond slivers. Absolutely delicious. We should have ended with this evening because it would not have tainted my perception. But, we came back in on our last evening. Sadly, our experience on the last night was like day and night. We made reservations as usual, got seated quickly but took a little while for our waiter to come and take our drink orders. We sat and sat and waited then he finally emerged and spoke about the special. We eventually ordered drinks. I got a glass of wine, my husband was quite tired so he asked if they had iced tea, waiter said no. It took about 20 minutes for a glass of wine and maybe another 15 for him to come back and take our orders. We were hungry, there was a heavy storm blowing in, we got wet because it was so windy and the little cover kept flapping to the point where it was letting water in, not to mention a leak on top of our table causing water to start dripping on my head. We ordered everything all at once from appetizer to our meal once the waiter remembered to come back. We got our appetizer another 30 minutes later while we miserably sat getting wet and getting cold. When we finally got our food, I wasn't in the greatest mood. I ordered another glass of wine which surprisingly came faster than the last time. It took a very long time for my husband to get a refill on his water. Only until another guy who was running around trying to bring food to the tables, when he noticed my husband's water glass was empty, he promptly came to refill. He wasn't our waiter. We didn't see much of our waiter. I am not needy and don't generally ask for too many things but making sure people have drinks while they eat is basic like breathing. Our food came out good but I already had a sour taste in my mouth due to the horrible service. For this visit, we started with the crudo, their fish on special that evening. It was delicious and we tried to enjoy and savor the flavor, as much as two starving people can. I had the local grouper with roasted PEI mussels. Again, delicious. We skipped dessert for fear that it would take another 30 minutes to get one and the experience had exhausted me at this point.
