Staff is bright and cheery early in the morning! Always helpful and the loyalty card for the specific location, is awesome!

Short Version: This is, by-far, my current favorite coffee place in town. The drinks are always made in the same manner, so I expect the same taste every time while they have a surprisingly large amount of ways to drink your coffee. My only complaint is that their employees don't always seem on the same page about how to order a drink or how to ring it up; it makes ordering frustrating sometimes. Long Version: I had the urge to give Caribou Coffee a try after finding out that the nearest Starbucks to this location was always insanely slow. I'm glad I gave it a try, and I haven't been back to that Starbucks for over a month now! Gotta say, I really love Caribou Coffee, and this is definitely my favorite location in the area. This Caribou Coffee is obviously a new building, and it shares a building space with a Hy-Vee Gas station. The two interiors are connected and share bathrooms as well, so you can get gas, pick up the Sunday paper, and get your coffee without much issue. This location also has a drive-thru that wraps around the backside of the building. The interior is extremely clean and nice, and they have tables, comfy chairs, and large-group tables. You'll regularly find people parked here just to do some work in here while drinking coffee. It's surprisingly quiet as well. Unlike the other Caribou Coffee establishment in town, this Caribou Coffee runs specials most days of the week. I uploaded a photo, but my favorite is definitely "Make a Friend Monday". You can buy one medium drink and get another medium drink for free. How awesome is that? During the month of March, all Large drinks are only $4 on weekends (which is cheaper than getting a Medium). The manager here seems to really want to drive business, so they regularly run specials. My ONLY complaint is that their pricing and "standard" structure is just all over the place. I came here and ordered my light drink and mentioned I'd like non-fat whip. The cashier seemed confused, and I was told that non-fat whip comes standard, so I don't need to mention it. No big deal. Next time I came, I didn't mention it, and...there was no whipped cream on my drink. That cashier told me that the previous cashier was wrong. O...kay then? Next time, I special ordered the non-fat whip again. This cashier (different than the first two) was trying to figure out what I wanted, and we finally figured out that I wanted non-fat whip, and she informed me that was the standard option on the drink. Now today when I went, the cashier was charging me $5-something for my usually-$4-something Medium drink. When I asked why, she said that the whipped cream was an extra surcharge and that all of my visits previously must have been giving me complimentary whipped cream. ....what? In the scheme of things, it's not a huge deal, but PLEASE get your staff on the same page. It's honestly kinda frustrating that I can't expect to be able to order the same drink and have everybody on the same page with the same price. HOWEVER, in terms of the drink quality, the drink always tastes delicious, and it tastes very, very good. I've had no issue in terms of the quality of the drink itself. It always tastes exactly how I want. I've had quality-control issues with the drink taste with the other Caribou in town, but not this one. While they maybe don't have the ordering process down, they definitely have the "making" process down. Even despite these confusions, all of the staff has been extremely helpful and friendly. They seem a bit bored at times, but they've never been rude - even when I was still new to learning the ordering process here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Love this place. I will continue to go out of my way to get my coffee here. It's super yummy. read more

Pleasant people, but not always super accurate with orders. I have had to turn around several times after going through the drive thru to get the right drink or sandwich or bakery item. Sometimes they've even forgotten items, but charged me for them. Most of the time, I'm on the way to work or have my son buckled into his carseat, which makes it incredibly inconvenient to come back or get out of the car. The coffee and food is always delicious. They just need to work on order accuracy. read more

This was my favorite Caribou in town. Since it's started to get a little cooler outside and all the wonderful pumpkin flavors come out. My wife and I started to come back almost daily for coffee. Only problem is in the last few weeks service has gone down quite a lot. Takes about 2.5x longer to get drinks and about 30% of the time, either someone in front of me or myself often get handed or offered a coffee we didn't order. May have to try the Cedar Falls one even with the extra drive it might still be faster. read more

this is a great place to go to to eat-the ones that are good and cheap! which is a few-like the dark chocolate grahams are awesome! less than a dollar! and their cakes and pies-delicious! and their pumpkin spice-lattes is- the bomb!! the best there! but -for the ones that are a little too expensive-is a no for me! especially the breakfast items too small for what it cost! but the main reason to go-is to hang out and be on the internet-when it's up!! u could be there til-it closes and they won't mind! very nice workers! i recommend it! read more

Good coffee, great service. My wife and I stop a couple times a week in the evening while running errands for a little caffeine pleasure. The last couple times Marissa (sp) has taken such great care of us that she alone would be a reason to return, if not for the good coffee and great surrounds. Marissa told us about the Caribou app which worked great and included a free medium drink each. For us, great service can make or break a place like this, and with employees like Marissa, Caribou is definitely making the grade. read more
