He was very fast in drawing his colored caricatures (ranging from 1-4 people per page). He even drew pictures of nonpresent guests and pets based on pictures. I printed out mini labels of my own that he was happy to stick on the bottom of his paper before giving it to guests in a clear plastic cover. He was gracious enough to stay for an extra hour to finish up a few more guests as we cleaned up the venue too. I just paid the extra hour in cash on day of, but he did ask if we just wanted to charge the credit card on file. Philip was very freindly and professional. I would hire again!

We did a poster size and had guests sign and comment for memory sake. I provided her with the dress photo, his tux photo, a current picture of them. I told her their favorite hobbies and she incorporated all the information she had. It was absolutely perfect! Looked just like them. The bride and groom were amazed with the attention to detail. Her gown was exact. His tux was a duplicate. Their faces, exaggerated yet oh so flattering. Bride and groom loved their surprise, the entire room of wedding guests could not stop talking about the drawing and it still hangs proudly on their wall. My guest complained all night, I was embarrassed. He needs to update his interaction to appease all race, ethnicity, age, and religion. He is not good for large events. If you're looking for a fast, fun, exciting, authentic caricaturist.. better off hiring someone else, or do it yourself! If he takes a million years to draw on a iPad, he must take a billion years on paper! Thank you.

I'm writing this now because I happen to be looking at a drawing that Dale did of my late mother…read moreback in 1993 when I hired him to "work the room" at my mother's 70th birthday party in Brooklyn. There were about 50 attendees and he was given free rein to draw anyone he could persuade to sit. Dale did a terrific job, and I'm reminded of that now as I see how he captured something of my mother that immediately brings her to life for me. I can't answer for others, obviously, but based on my personal experience I would recommend Dale any day of the week.
