The Walmart is the biggest occupant, but there's also a Bulk Barn, Dollarama, EBGames, a nail place, and a dentist's office. Most often, we go to the Walmart and Bulk Barn in this mall. The service is good in both places. I find it refreshing to occasionally go to a different outlet of the chain stores I usually frequent, as sometimes they have different items on the shelves (although not necessarily better sales!) or sometimes a little different layout. This is a shopping centre that I will keep in mind for the times I find myself in Carleton Place. It's relatively new, and clean.

The deals were really good too Old Navy was solid as usual and even Lululemon had that 2 for $100 leggings thing. They have QR codes everywhere so you can just scan and join their rewards/app on the spot and get coupons while you shop which is kinda nice, didn't feel complicated. The vibe was cute too there's like a fire pit in the middle (even though it was sunny lol), music playing, and I swear I smelled mini donuts at one point with some bangers playing lol Also random tip but if you're signed up with Lindt you can get free chocolate bag for your birthday (and like up to 30 days after). Only thing is the food area is super small, like a couple spots, so don't expect a full food court. But honestly you won't really care because there's a lot to walk through. Would go back for sure.

Van Houte maybe for a rare treat. Tommy Hillfiger but nothing fits right as I have an athletic build so... I just look. I love Softmoc, I do have too many shoes and boots but that's allowed! My ultimate spot there is Chilly Chiles as I love hot food/sauces and the staff there are great. I love the kitchen store too but I have wayyyyy too much of that stuff as I love to cook and already have fancy glasses. Mid week is best to go for service and parking - weekends, I avoid.

We stopped in for a coffee, and as we sat down there was a blaring racket on everyone's cellphone to announce another tornado warning!! Ottawa's 3rd since September! Ouch!! The skies got very dark, the trees lashed about, and rain poured down. It rained hard for about half an hour and s rainbow came out. What a strange welcome!! I go to Perth occasionally. I'll go back to take a look at what else is in this shopping centre. Hopefully it'll be a nice day!!

Kanata Lakes Plaza is a newly developed plaza and as of my visit in March 2023, not all the…read morebusinesses in the plaza were open yet (e.g. Windbell Sushi). The anchor store is the second location of Kowloon Market (the first location is in Chinatown). This was a much anticipated opening in the area. There's also another location of Equator Coffee in this plaza. I think it's Equator's fifth location. There's also a Gong Cha there (Ottawa's third Gong Cha). There will be a few restaurants opening up here (not yet open during my visit): Crust & Crate, Wings Up Takeout, and the aforementioned Windbell Sushi. Other businesses in the plaza that I haven't mentioned yet (and are of little interest to me personally, lol) are: Chicco Optical, Friendly Cuts, Vitality Physiotherapy, Scholars, Haiyan Dance Studio, OYF Kanata (Yoga), I.D.A. Pharmacy, Groove Dental, Pawllywoof Pet Grooming and Helpful Neighbour Convenience Store. It's pretty much like any other suburban plaza, haha. Although I should mention, it's owned by Urbandale, so it has that Urbandale look and feel to it. So it's different than say a Riocan-owned plaza or a SmartCentres-owned plaza ;)

He pulled us over and used me as an example after I said no anyway, like 2-3 times. Used my mother and sister as examples like we were dolls and didn't even fix her hair, the serum totally messed up my hair and my curls fell. Only reason it's bumped down to 3 stars. Do not recommend the KK hair products, mad expensive. $50 for hair serum!?!?!? He attemped to push my mom, who could NOT get it, and pushed more eventually gave up and gave dirty looks. Other stores are great, found the book I was looking for at Cole's too.

There's also direct entrance to Walmart on the 3rd floor. Gets busy in the weekend with visitors. Prices are decent for apparels and food. Mall is mostly clean and organized. Elevators are on one side of the mall, little annoying. But they have free parking garage which is nice.

For the record, there used to be a movie theatre here (Galaxy), but that closed, and it's been torn down :-( We only got there once. Movies are different now adays, when we all have big screen tvs and can make our own popcorn. Incidentally, the Shopper's drug store that's here is bigger, and has a better selection than the SDM downtown on King Street. The Rossy's is a Canadian department store (a chain, out of Montreal). We seem to be in there every week! Great service and good prices. I often get yarn there, but you can get clothes, and furniture, among other things. I will definitely be back to this mall.

1000 Islands Mall is the only mall in Brockville. Unfortunately, it is a sad little mall. One of…read morethe anchor stores is Sears (and it is one of the ones that will be closing in the near future). The other anchors are Shoppers Drug Mart and Staples. Other stores included Ardene, Coles, Bentley, some stores I've never heard of before and some cell phone providers. In terms of fashions the stores were Pennington, Alia N Tanjay, and Northern Reflections. So not exactly a fashionista's dream. The food court has 3 options: deli sandwiches, Chinese food, and fish and chips. The end of the mall away from Sears was particularly sad as it had mostly vacant units. No hidden gems here, folks (at least not in my opinion). What you see is what you get, it's just a small-town mall.
