My friend and I bundled our lessons, then were put off all summer due to the heat. When the weather cooled down, the owner disappeared. She refused to answer calls or texts. She said she'd give us a copy of the contract but has been "too busy" to do so. My friend and I lost about $300 between us. I was hesitant about taking horseback riding lessons due to the expense. I certainly didn't want to put out that kind of money for lessons I would never receive.
