Such warm, personalised service; beautifully decorated, heated and covered space outdoors for Covid-complaint dining; and delicious food at acceptable prices. La Meridiana now getting quite expensive for what it is. Despite that still popular - but they'll have to improve all round to justify cost. They could cut down the ridiculous size of the non-used bar, get rid of the table for two next to it and put in a smaller bar / area with some unobtrusive partitioning beams or similar and create an area where half a dozen people can wait with drinks for a few minutes.

Waiters offered us our drinks and starters and this was brought to us within 10 minutes. Again, no waiting around. I ordered calamari which came beautifully crisp and moist, with a fresh slice of lemon. We ordered our mains which came to us within 15-20 minutes, the waiters didn't disturb us, but were swift when we finished eating to provide a desserts menu and top up our drinks.
