So frustrating. Went through the drive-thru, ordered three meals for my kids and myself ($36.07) and drove home where I discovered that one of the burgers was incorrect. I called and the response was "yeah, we just got a call from the guy we switched your burger with" without any apology or saying how they could make it right. I ended up hanging up angry and chalking this up to another "they always f you in the drive-thru" moment. My kids encouraged me to call back where I spoke with the same assistant manager (I'll refer to her as AM). In speaking with AM again, I eventually was able to get a resolution but not after being called "hon" which AM said it was "out of respect". "Ma'am" is respectful. "Hun" is condescending. I'm not upset that my order was wrong. Mistakes happen. It's how you handle them that matters. How do I think this should have been handled? As soon as I described my issue, the response should have been: "I am so sorry. We'd like to make this right. If you're able to come back, we can give you a credit and make the correct burger for you; or if that's not convenient, we can add your name to our logbook and next time you come in we can get you that credit and the correct burger. Will either of those options work for you?" Because it wasn't handled well, I had to be a Karen to get it resolved and now I feel like an @sshole because I hate being unkind. read more

Clerk was nice , at drive thru got food and left . Pulled over to eat and found that my whole thing of fries was just crumbs , it was full and looked like they dumped another thing of fries crumbs in the bottom of the bag. We stopped in at Carl's yesterday (7/6/24) around 6:30 pm. This could've been a 5 star review because the California Classic dbl cheese burger and the beef Teriyaki burger were excellent. But the service was inexcusable. And they can't blame it on being short staffed because there WAS enough help on the food line if everyone had been working. The issue was that after placing our order, we stepped away from the counter to wait. After all, it IS "fast food" so it should only take a few minutes. As we waited, we watched the assembly crew as they were filling orders...at sloth speed. Particularly one young man, who enjoyed chatting with coworkers on the line. They seemed to be happy, enjoying their day. At one point, the above mentioned worker picked up the partially assembled burger (including the hot (?) beef patty) from the counter he was working on (it was on the paper wrapper but completely open) and walked around the kitchen with it, chatting along the way. He ended up stepping to the door of the office right next to the assembly counter, addressed the person inside, then wandered back to his spot. The Office: We don't know who was in there but it seemed everyone made it over to the doorway to chat a bit, laugh, and resume what they were doing. One of the gals came back up to the counter a couple times and announced to new customers that hadn't even ordered yet, that "Sorry, it's going to be another 5 minutes, we're short staffed." From the time we ordered to receiving it was just under 20 minutes. I really hope this was just an off day for them, but I'm afraid it's more a lack of management issue. read more

Basically a good 24 hour burger spot. I tend to drop in at night late. Robert makes sure everything tasted great. Nice to have a sappy to grab some chicken strips or a hot burger. They do close for an hour to switch over systems. just after 10 or so. Plan accordingly. read more

Our food was just what you expect from Carl's Jr-fresh, tasty, and made to order. What was really the reason I had to review was the employee that took our order, Emily. She was friendly, attentive, and smiling the entire time. The store was clean and well stocked as well. It's attached to a truck stop so easy to stop for everyone's needs. The bathrooms in the truck stop were also clean and well maintained and included a feedback button system for customers to use easily. Great place to stop if your road trip takes you through the area! read more

As I waited in line at Carl's Jr., I waffled back and forth between feeling bad for the customers and then, mostly, feeling bad for the employees. It seemed that customization of meals was not an option, which I can see would be frustrating. But the other customers at this joint were surprisingly rude to the employees who, of course, have no real say in the way the restaurant is run. And if they are running out on barbecue sauce, there is nothing they can do about it! Our meal came in a timely manner and was, unfortunately, just okay. The strawberry milkshakes arrived with whip when we'd asked for no whip- no big deal, as they were still pretty great shakes. But the onion rings were just odd. The breading was very thick and grainy. I wished that I'd ordered the criss cut fries instead, but I still enjoyed my meal, and the service I received was satisfactory. read more

They are suppose to be a 24 hr business but it is never that. I get you are short staffed but treat employees better and they will stay. The store manager is always grumpy like she hates her job. Warning. When you order TO-GO in the late afternoon or evening. They will give you the unsold burger from lunchtime that wasn't sold. They pre-make them to speed up the lines during the Lunch hour rush. I got #2 just the burger at 6pm to-go, Got into my truck. Decided to eat it before driving out. I opened my burger and what the f*** I was disgusted. The buns where hard like a cookie & the mayo has the inside of the buns all soggy. The lettuce and tomato soggy and a darker color which means it sat for a very long time. It was very unpleasant & disappointing. I went inside and asked. Did you make this fresh or was this burger from 5 hours ago. They said it was made fresh. I'm like no it wasn't. Please make me a fresh burger. And they did. All fluffy and appetizing. First off, I dont typically write reviews for fast food places or chain restaurants because they all vary so widely however, I have to give this place the kudos it deserves. This Carls Jr is always quick and friendly. I stopped in here yesterday and placed my order for a low carb (lettuce wrapped) burger. They always wrap, i mean, really wrap it good with lettuce. They dont just throw an obligatory piece of lettuce on one side forcing you to eat it with utensils. I was able to eat this burger with my hands with no messy issues because it was wrapped so well. The burger itself was dang good but the "bacon" was pretty limp and small, so that kinda sucked. Especially for a burger that costs 5.39. The order process was quick and easy and Jessica, the person working the drive thru, was super nice, friendly, quick, and professional. Jessica should get a raise! She is a great asset to your restaurant. All told, I would definitely go back to this location again. Good food, ok prices, awesome service. I do wish that they would offer more low carb options for those of us who dont wish to pursue the typical gluttonous overdone way of eating that many Americans do. read more

Do not expect a true quality meal here, it is fast food. This Carl's Jr is a part of the Loves truck stop about 1/2 way from Portland to Seattle. The location makes Carl's Jr items the way to menu calls for, the food is fresh, prices are competitive and staff is friendly. What would make this location better though is a slightly bigger seating area with more comfortable seating. It is nice they bring your items to your table on the bright side. read more

I hate eating fast food chains but I wanted to mention that this one works really well for us when we are hauling our travel trailer because it is at a truck stop.... so it has super easy parking for us and easy access to the freeway. What I thought would be a easy stop and good food turned out horrible. The atmosphere i would say isn't friendly at all. You walk in and FOX NEWS is playing on every tv. Handed the window cashier the money. SHE proceeded to drop it outside the window and then expected us to fetch it. Passenger had to get out of car, walk around to find it and upon handing it back to the cashier did not even get a "thank you." No manners. Drove away and realized no straws. This was this first time when the burgers I got where burnt on the edges and dried out. The burger actually made me sick right after eating it. While sitting at the table, we overheard a customer also complaining about their burger, and the lady at the front counter said that they have to cook the food to temperature. Never really had an issue until my last visit. Not many people in the store but the and the service was slow, and the order accuracy was lacking. Requested no onions there onions, there was not teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki burger, and oddly enough I was not the only one who had issues. Seems as though the money taker was having a birthday of sorts and her head was in the clouds.
