It was to be submitted by 5pm.. they did not contact me until 2:30 that day and after reviewing the affidavit twice it was still incorrect but time had run out and I had to submit it the way it was. When I voiced my concern I was told " oh it doesn't matter he can change it the day you go to court ". This was incorrect. He had months to complete this task and waited until the final hours to do it . My final bill was $11,000. I don't expect my attorney to care about my personal life. That attorney out right lied to me about a law to get me in there and after they received the retainer, they changed the narrative and went against what we advised them not to do. During the consult my attorney had someone filling in saying to keep costs down, and she also reaffirmed the law the defendant broke before the retainer was signed. They offer a free consultation but charged me after they gotten the retainer. We retained them for 3 weeks until I fired them, and they refuse to give back the retainer even after they misrepresented themselves.
