The restaurant in the Heathrow Marriott. Very convenient with ok food. Had breakfast and appetizer on separate days. The avocado toast was ok. The biggest feedback was the egg was closer to boiled consistency versus a runny yolk. I had bruschetta as an appetizer on another occasion. That dish was also ok, it was diced tomatoes tossed with olive oils. Lacked salt and pepper and lacked balsamic vinegar. Once I added those it was pretty good. I was attending an event at the hotel where this place is an eating option. I ate here twice; once for lunch/dinner and once for breakfast/brunch. For lunch I had fish and chips. It was very good and crisp! Tasted very fresh too. For brunch I had avocado toast with eggs and bacon. I also had a Bloody Mary. It was good...but nothing special. Overall, it's an okay dining option if you're in a pinch. read more

I was staying at the Marriott in London and Carluccio's was the restaurant on site. I had dinner here. I ordered fish and chips. The service was friendly and attentive. The dining area was a bit empty when I was there. The food was hot and very good. The menu wasn't anything special but it served its purpose. The ambiance was somewhat quiet. read more

3.5 stars. Sure it's in a hotel. Sure, it's a chain, but the staff w ere excellent, prices were good, and food was good. I really enjoyed the mushroom soup and the antipasti board. Even the portion for one was enough for two! The portion sizes were really good as well. read more

The restaurant is beautiful .... Seriously very clean, well lit and a beautiful lay out. That's where the positive ends. The gentleman that waited on us was on another planet. He poured our drinks and let them sit on the bar while he chatted with his female colleague. Literally 10 mins as we watched him chat. Then he leisurely grabbed a tray to carry our drinks 10 feet from the bar. The food came out with hot waffles being ice cold - the charcuterie came out after the waffles were eaten (a bit off on timing). We wanted more drinks but couldn't get anyone to make eye contact either. I was pleasantly surprised by the burrrata and the charcuterie board items but again, the lack of service tainted the whole experience. Marriott should maybe look into who/how these experiences can ruin the whole visit - especially if it's where folks go while they wait for their rooms to be ready. read more

For a hotel dinner, it's certainly quite disappointing for the price and splendor of this conference hotel. Thank goodness their breakfast is excellent if you purchase it with Marriott, but this restaurant needs some fixing on their dishes. We called braised beef ragu and this was by far a disappointing dish. The sauce was weak and bland tasting. This dish is supposed to be a hearty dish but nothing was driving this dish. It was a struggle to finish across 5 people. the Penne Giardineria is basically chopped up zucchinis over thick Penne. Not a very exciting dish and even the Croquette Falafel like veggie balls were a little weird over this dish. You have dry falafel, soft mushy buttery zucchini and al dente pasta. Somewhat of a strange dish. The mushroom soup- zuppa di funghi- very heavy in shiitake flavor so if you love that, this dish is very good for that flavor. Service was good and atmosphere is nice, but would highly recommend this chain revisit some of their signature dishes. Quite disappointing and flavorless dishes. read more

Located inside the Marriott hotel near the London's Heathrow airport! Very cute arrangement, nice web site which is why I decided to eat there during my stay at the hotel. While convenient, Carluccio's is not worth the price although that might be a London thing. More specifically food was bland and absolutely not good at all, with the exception of dessert. First of all garlic bread is an appetizer and is not free. If you are American-take notice. Water served is a tap water which is European standard. Mushroom soup was ok but it lacked a punch. Not a bad start though. Fish fillets with potatoes were straight out not good. Overcooked, bland and just nothing to brag about, I cannot believe dish was called Salmon Supreme. The only Supreme thing about it was the price sticker! Chicken Saltimbocca was another disappointment. Another bland taste, with supposedly addition of prosciutto which you cannot taste. To save the day-I ordered meatballs which are kid sized but tasty. Torta Al Mandarino was the highlight of dinner and I would recommend it. In fact if this is the only thing I ordered this would be a 4 or a 5 star review. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would . The bartender tonight was the most unwelcoming and invisible person we have ever had ---ZERO to no communication. He clearly didn't want to be there and the 4 of us that were seated near each other all said the same thing. The food was decent so if I could give more stars towards that I would give 4 stars. Too bad the bartender made it a lousy experience. There was an automatic gratuity " service charge" . EDIT - Update Now we had a great breakfast here this morning and that was lovely and our server was really nice . His name was JOYSEE? Something like that . The kitchen staff was working so well together and that is always a nice thing to see. So the breakfast and the staff get the 5 Stars!!! read more

Another excellent dinner at the end of a long day! The mushroom risotto and carbonara were true standouts! The lasagne was a bit watery but still good. This morning's breakfast (traditional English) is excellent and exactly what you'd expect. read more

Finally somewhere decent to eat in this stretch of hotels and drought of food establishments The pasta offering is large and the menu has lots to offer with other items and monthly specials Coffee is delicious and they do take out items like salads, breads and pastries. Had a large spaghetti carbonara which was tasty and quite good. Buzzy atmosphere and nice set up. Would recommend if visiting Hayes hotel area definitely read more

Good service and food. Had the sea bass that was amazing and not breaded. Substituted broccoli for potatoes and added a good glass or red wine. Not bad for an airport hotel. read more

My husband and I had a late dinner here after checking in to the hotel on a Friday night. The place wasn't packed and had a fair number of waiters still working. We waited for almost 15 minutes before seeing anyone to order drinks and when the waiter did come by, we ordered everything at once. Somehow the food came out before we even had water or the drinks we ordered. The salad I ordered was incorrect. Food itself wasn't memorable. Waiter was nice, just seemed a little overwhelmed and unable to manage his time. Overall, I'd give it another try because everyone has bad days but don't have high expectations if you go here. read more
