I'd seen these discount shops in Spanish cities but saw online that the suburban versions are large warehouse stores. This was definitely a warehouse. Tons of items and tons of options. I'm not sure why but the lighting in there was TERRIBLE. I think they replaced the large fluorescent fixtures with tiny e26 type bulbs. I had to use my phone flashlight in some parts of the store. Note that I significantly brightened store interior photos so you can actually see what's in there but it's MUCH darker in person. Staff (husband and wife, I think) just stood at their registers on either end of the store watching people. That said, we were the only customers on a Thursday a little past noon. My other issue was a lot of merch was covered in dust. It was like a cargo container got exposed to mud and wiped off but not thoroughly. It was very off-putting and a bit unreal that they were selling it like that. Prices were decent for some things and very high for others. A doodle sketch pad with 10 sheets was like €7!!!! But I was able to find some items I needed (without dirt), manicure scissors for €0.85 which was okay (quality was marginal). All in all it was an odd place with the lack of light and layers of dirt on most items. For these reasons, I can see why locals were not frequenting this store. Prices were decent for essentials but very high on non-essential items. I do appreciate that they had what I needed to make life easier on my vacation.
