While I found the burrito itself to kind of be highly priced, it is a lot of meat packed inside - so maybe worth it? The burrito itself was about $11/$12. I had the steak burrito with everything minus lettuce. I feel like the it should've been more queso inside of it, I was only able to see & taste the queso once I got to the bottom or end of the burrito - for this I feel like the burrito lacked flavor & the steak became too much to chew. I was craving tamales and saw that they sell them here. I ordered 3 rajas and 3 chicken, 6 tamales total and a side of rice. The tamales were so bland and dry. The tamales were horrible. I will say maybe a 3.5 close to 4. So I have gone on both Friday and other days and I can say that the food does taste different depending on when you go. I have it on Fridays ( tacos ) that were really good and meat flavorful and then I tried tacos on a Saturday and they were just okay. I've all tried burrito and enchilada meal from here. I ordered online and my food was ready when I arrived. It was bagged securely, stapled with a sticker on the outside. I ordered the pork burrito and it was DELICIOUS!! Totally hit the spot. It was huge! They cut it in half so you can share it with someone or eat the other half later. It came with a side of red hot sauce. I grabbed some limes on my way out. The store is pretty big inside. They have your normal produce as well as a deli and many Spanish goods. I came here solely for the tacos! I came around noon and it was pretty packed inside. I ordered the pollo taco and two asada tacos. The price for tacos were approximately 1.65-1.85$. Not too bad for tacos. I ordered my food to go and waited patiently. Almost 20 minutes went by until I received my food and they made the order for dine in. I was fine with it as I was extremely hungry. I took a bite into the taco and it tasted superb. They put a lot of meat and toppings compared to some other taco spots in my opinion. The steak was beautifully cooked. The corn tortilla was very soft, fluffy and warm like it freshly came from the oven. I would have given this place a five star for being a convenient eatery but the wait really bothered me. It's probably due to them maybe making the food on spot but waiting 20 minutes for tacos that I can demolish in 5 minutes is kind of meh. Everything was pretty good, slightly expensive and my tacos were a little dry. I was also expecting limes to go with it but they weren't in the bag. This place has some great food. Not only is the food great but also reasonable. As you all may know, it's also a market. The reason I ended up at this place was due to me wanting some fresh cracklings. To the Hispanic community its called chicharrones. Man oh man did they have some. They were huge, big and thick. On a lot of them I had to take some of the fat off because it was a little too much for me, however when i got to just the cracklin, the skin part I really wanted, that was some great tasting stuff. Son had the kids cheese quesadia. all of the portions were large, ingredients were fresh, and the value is undeniable. My son (age 2) was very happy to give it a shot to eat the entire portion. If my daughter (age 7) was here, she would have been hard pressed to eat the entire portion in one sitting. The cheese used on the quesadilla was very delicious and plentiful.
