Like for many others, perhaps, things since the pandemic have been pretty unsettled and chaotic. On top of that, there seems to be an inherent disorder, or chaos, to my life, despite my best attempts to right the ship and keep it on an even keel. Things just have not gone very well, though I have managed to at least keep a roof over my head and, more importantly, over my beloved pets' heads. I chose Saginaw over other places both in Michigan and in other cities/states, and discovered Green Acres Apartments as part of that search. I took a gamble, and rented a unit sight unseen at this apartment complex. My past few times with this experience have been, well, not great, though, again, at least I managed to have a place to live, amazingly enough. I was really worried about this apartment, based on past and present experiences in renting. I was also very, very tired and burned out, and feared that this place would be another storm I would have to weather in my journey to find a place, and a city, I could settle into for a while (and even just to catch my breath). I needn't have worried. Green Acres is the best place I have ever leased in all my 30+ years of renting. I came prepped with an arsenal of cleaning supplies (I used to clean professionally, and have high standards), but the place was so clean, I only used a handful of supplies. Everything really was "freshly painted" and I loved everything about the apartments down to the the cat-friendly large windows and the charming retro feel of the cabinet hardware and the wonderful quirky bathroom. I sat in my living room that first night after my stuff was moved in, had a cup of tea, looked out the tall window that overlooked the lovely courtyard--and felt so calm and at peace. The staff at Green Acres, from the very beginning, have gone above and beyond to help me settle in in several ways--none the least with the welcome box of delectable pastries that were a much-appreciated treat that first day as I tried to restore enough order among the moving boxes to have a place to sleep (and a pathway through the apartment!). I would highly recommend Green Acres as a "safe harbor" place to call home.

They're staffing seems nice at first when they're trying to get you moved in and take your money…read morebut after they get you moved in they're rude and honestly the apartments are over priced, I wouldn't suggest living here either if you work a late shift job or are just trying to relax on a day off cause they allow the lawn mowing company and bush trimming company to come in at times of 8am to 9am and be loud af for hours. Also if you have any issues with other tenants good luck getting them to look in to things and do anything about it cause they won't. People throw trash out of their cars all the time across the apartment complex. It's also way over priced. So I would just highly recommend not coming here

Roger did an awesome job from showings to the closing. My husband and I used him to purchase our home also. We were first time home buyers. He took time to explain how the appraisal is figured, what banks look for, and many other things. He made us feel confident through the whole process. Even though we were a little nervous. When my husband and I moved to Caro, we knew we weren't going to buy because we knew we would be leaving in exactly three years because of his job with the military. We also needed to find a place to live ASAP. So I put together a packet of finances, letters of recommendation and my pet's vet records. We were looking to rent. When we walked into the office, we were greeted warmly and the lady was friendly until she found out we were not from the area and we were looking to rent. She became icy and short. She sent us to look at 3 properties, 2 of which were literally SHACKS and one was a studio apartment above a STRANGER'S home. When we returned to explain to her that these are not realistic options, she gruffly told us no one will rent to "outsiders" with a dog. She began to tell us that we would be lucky enough to live in one of those shacks because we had a pet. She also told us that we could not afford anything above that (even AFTER I provided her with the proof that we could). We reiterated that because of my husband's military job, we would be staying in the area for only 3 years (and would not be returning) and buying was not a practical option. We told her it was understandable, because we were young, to be cautious but we had a PERMANENT, steady source of income and along with a housing allowance that would allow us to rent homes much better than what she showed us. She then insinuated that we were liars because she did not believe that anyone would get a housing allowance from their job. It was like she literally did not understand what we were trying to tell her. She was EXTREMELY rude, condescending and closed-minded and I was absolutely shocked by her lack of empathy, understanding and customer service.
