I'd been sick for years when I finally decided to try acupuncture. I was struggling with…read moreautoimmune issues, leaky gut, candida, SIBO, and a host of other symptoms. Researching on the web had led me to spend a ton of money on supplements, programs, diets, and promises. I'd worked with a nutritional therapist who had me on $200 worth of supplements a month with no end in sight. Finally, I decided I'd had enough and I quit looking for answers and started to follow my intuition. I realized that I understood more than I gave myself credit for and adjusted my diet the best that I could based on my experiences. I found some improvement, but I knew that I'd reached the end of my knowledge and couldn't think of anything else to try that made sense. I was tired, had tinnitus, was struggling to sleep, and often experienced a racing heart beat that scared me. My husband found Ariana's card on the board at the co-op. I laughed because I strongly fear needles and could not imagine voluntarily letting someone stick them in me. Her card sat on my desk for a month before I scheduled my first appointment. Ariana always tells me that acupuncture cannot override a bad diet or bad habits and I'm sure that's true, but I believe that if you're willing to follow her guidance and be consistent in showing up for care, you will be amazed. Don't be scare of the needles. I promise you that if this girl can handle it, then so can you. I now find that I crave the relaxation and healing that I experience and the needles aren't even a thing I think about anymore.

The other thing I like is that I know she keeps up to date and does continuing education yearly. Most helpful was her treatment of a foot/ankle problem which showed us that the origin of the problem was not just the foot.
