This review is more of a warning than a review. Tabitha the tattoo artist was given a $50 deposit to work on a tattoo, the client was told in a week she (Tabitha) would be ready in a week to do the work... 3 weeks later no call, no appointment, no drawing... nothing. When asked to return the deposit, I was told "I'm not obligated to return any deposits" I was also hung up on by the employee. Very unprofessional... So, if you give this business a deposit, they will take your money and run! I needed to add that the owner of the business, Christian called and swore at me about leaving a negative review of his business. Very unprofessional. read more

i looked up tattoo shops in my area and came upon this place. i walked in and was greeted by kyle and the owner. they both were very professional. i spoke to kyle about a cover up and he said he could do it and to leave a 50 dollar deposit so he can draw it up. the next day i get a call to come to the shop and check it out. looked great btw! this was on saturday. i made an appt with him to come in on wednsday and he knocked it out no problem!! also he did a fantasic job and will def return and tell people about this place. not sure about the other people but i had a very good experience and i thought the owner and kyle were very friendly and professional. thanks guys hope to do more business with you soon!!!! read more

My girl left a $50 deposit with Kyle. I called back to speak with someone about pricing just to get a high low price scale on what I'm getting myself into. By chance I was lucky and caught the owner on the phone. He has the social and business skills of a third-grader proceeds to say we don't give deals here. First of all I wasn't looking for a deal I was asking If do multiple pieces is there any type of discount or can I at least get a price. Seemed kinda high for the work we were acquiring about. I live in south Florida. I Felt like I was talking to someone at a pawnshop or on the show the price is right. We came there because we heard Kyle was good. So at the end today Kyle if you read these things your boss screwed you out of some work. If you don't have the time and the patience to talk to people politely then you shouldn't answer your company phone. hire help cause it sounds like you need it. I bet you take a lot of people's deposits and then either sucker them in to a high price or they just walk away. At least buy Kyle lunch with my deposit money read more

Clean, friendly, professional My tattoo isn't flash it is art work that will be on my body for life. I am very thankful that I was treated with respect and my choice of tattoo was treated with the respect it deserved. Tabitha was great with answering my questions on the phone and getting back to me quickly and setting an appointment. Christian Thain created an amazing tattoo and worked around my busy schedule. Despite their name, custom tattoos baffle them. I am sure that they are great at flash designs, because that seems to be all they are comfortable with and they're still open, so I assume they do something. I came in with an existing tattoo that I wanted work done to. It is a key on my side and it was my first tattoo and not a great one (its a little crooked). I have a very specific idea of what I wanted and even had pictures to give to them. I talked with Christian, he traced my tattoo, we talked about what I wanted at length and I left thinking we were on the same page. I dropped off a deposit of $60 the next day ($10 over what he asked bc ATMs only give increments of 20), and emailed Christian the pictures of what I had in mind. He said it would take a week or two. 18 days later exactly, right before I was about to call to see what was happening with my drawing, Christian called me and said he had the drawing done. I was so excited and couldn't wait to see it, so I stopped by the shop after work the same day. I wanted a bow around my key, a frame around both of those and lace extended out from there. It was going to be a pretty big piece, which is why I thought it took so long for him to draw it. Not only had Christian not drawn about 90% of what I asked, but what he did draw was completely opposite of what we had talked about that I question if he was even listening to me in the first place. He basically colored in my existing tattoo, drew a bow around it that I SPECIFICALLY said in an email that I didn't like, and shaded it all pink and purple, when I wanted red. He half-way traced a frame, just the outline, no detail, and zero lace. As I was staring blankly at what was before me, because I couldn't believe he thought this was acceptable, he goes on to tell me that he didn't recommend my entire design because it would make my key look more crooked. I am completely fine with an artist giving me their opinion, thats what they are for. I am very open-minded and 9 times out of 10 will go with what the artist suggests. HOWEVER, his suggestion that my tattoo idea wouldn't work would have been great news to hear prior to the 3 weeks that I waited around to hear from him. From there, I could have done some more research on another idea, or gone for a second opinion somewhere else. Beyond that, he had zero ideas on how to make my design work, except for the crappy bow he drew. Not okay. So we kind of stood there staring at his drawing while I was trying to figure out where to go from there because I had literally nothing to work with. The meeting ended with him saying something along the lines of "I can try to draw it again and come up with something." TRY? I walked out the door knowing that I would never hear from him again- he wasn't remotely interested in making his customer happy. As I got in my car to pull away, I looked back up in to the shop and he was laughing. Apparently, disappointed clients are hilarious. Moral of the story, go somewhere else. I am viewing my $60 deposit as a charity donation because they will be needing it if this is how they do business. I have since gone to a different local tattoo shop, who couldn't believe this story when I told them, and I have an appointment Sunday to get my tattoo done. If you want a butterfly tattoo with your BFF, this is your place. If you want a piece of art that you and an ARTIST create together, don't waste your time or money. And per the previous reviewers comment- Christian, call me and cuss me out. I'd enjoy it. read more
