Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed as the flowers received were not fresh; in fact, they appeared brown (especially the pink roses). Typically, I wouldn't mind, however I find it necessary to express my dissatisfaction, especially on the significant occasion of Valentine's Day and the significant premium charged on the flowers. In a mall, my partner would always choose to walk on the side where a florist is present. He loves being able to smell the roses rather than walk by stores with artificial fresheners. At Rhodes, Carolina florist is located towards the end where you could choose to yewy around the florist or Target. Guess where I always end up turing around? Yes, at the florist.. I've noted the flowers not only smell great, but the florist makes the prettiest bouquets. For my friends anniversary celebration, I want to give them a custom made bouquet of their favourite flowers, and at Carolina they are more than happy to custom design the bouquet. They don't charge anymore for this service too. Purchased the "XOXO Charisma Flowers" for my girlfriend on valentines day from this store. I received the flowers the day before valentines day, and on the night of valentines day the flowers had already begun withering. Their quality had deteriorated in less than 2 days. This is unacceptable. Given the price that has been paid for these flowers and given the occasion, you would expect the flowers to have lasted a lot longer. My girlfriend also changed the water and found foam at the base of the vase. This most likely indicates the flowers were not cut fresh before the arrangement was made, and rather were stored in wet foam. I ordered the spring sparkle flowers on valentines day for my girlfriend from this store. I specifically called and told them to bring the flowers at 9:00am to her apartment because she was to start work at 10am and couldn't take them home from work because she was finishing work at midnight that day. The flowers came an hour and a half late and she had already left to work so the building manager picked them up. She didn't see them until after midnight and the daisies were definitely not fresh at all (half of them were already losing their colour). There were so many substitutes there, they looked nothing like the photo and did not include flowers that were mentioned over the phone. I also ordered roses chocolates which never arrived, and after calling to complain about them, he insisted that they did. Also, they barely ever answered the phone when i kept calling to make sure they delivered them in the morning and the customer service over the phone is not great at all. read more
