I have visited gunrunners a handful of times in the past. Ive dealt with Mike and Casey (and im sure some more people). They have been very helpful. Not pushy at all and they dont bother you. If you need help, they are there. Ive done one transfer through them, went fine. Ive also done one purchase outright. That went well. Some good used firearms. Yeti coolers in stock and priced right. Called in about selling a gun and they told me to come in whenever. We got here and the location is kind of weird to me compared to other gun shops that I have been to, but it is a good size and very clean. Everyone was very polite, quick, and courteous. We were in and out in about 10 minutes with a check in hand. It was a pretty good price that we were offered as we know they have to make a profit too. We would probably come back to scope items, but there are definitely Raleigh prices here; not outrageous by any means, but not the best. read more

When I purchased my first firearm a few years ago, they were very helpful. They have knowledgeable staff, good selection, and were genuinely interested in making sure my needs were met. They helped me select the proper accessories and cleaning supplies to maintain my weapon. There was no hard sell of any kind. Absolutely recommended for suppressor purchase! Just bought an AR and suppressor from these guys, extremely knowledgable, helpful, and just great people in general. I had been reading about purchasing a suppressor and the headache that surrounds that mysterious process. All I had to do was ask about it and someone came over and held my hand through the entire thing. Everything from getting my account set up online, to the fingerprints at their in-store kiosk, to explaining how things should look moving forward. All said and done, it took about 15 minutes for a process that I though would take me weeks to complete. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by multiple friendly staff who were expeditious but helpful and kind. The store is clean. The staff is very professional. I walked in on a Saturday to look at some hand guns for concealed carry. They were very busy, but I was greeted within seconds of approaching the counter. The man I spoke with ( I believe his name was Jason or Jeremy) was extremely helpful. I told him I didn't have a purchase permit yet, but he spent a good half hour explaining my options to me and let me handle the guns I was interested in. First time gun owner. My first visit, they were very helpful and happily answered all my questions no matter how stupid the questions were. I found an amazing handgun deal online and shipped it to these guys for a FFL transfer. Their transfer fee of $25 is the lowest I've found in this area. Kevin was nice and helped me examine my new gun for defects since I wasn't really sure what to look for. It was a super quick process. These folks are great and friendly. I'm definitely a novice as far as guns go and these guys (I dealt with more than one) were all helpful without being condescending. Made my first hand gun purchase a pleasure and, while I went in with an idea of what I wanted, they steered me towards something that better suited my needs without "up-selling." Long story short, after doing some research online, I went in for either a Glock-19 or a Smith and Wesson MP Shield -The Glock was too big and bulky and the Shield too small/light. Ultimately I wound up purchasing a Springfield XD-s on their recommendation and am very pleased. I'm confident in recommending this store to other first-time buyers. read more

The guys here are great. I purchased a couple guns here and had a great experience every time i came through the door. Mike is very helpful and is an asset to the company, helped me out every time Ive been there, cant say enough about him. Reasonable prices and a staff that is willing to answer questions no matter how dumb they are. Called inquiring about an item. Was told it was in stock at a certain price, and possibly cheaper because salesperson thought it had been on sale. (Item is cheaper at other stores but I've done business here before and wanted to give the locals my business) Went to the store later in the day to find out it was not in stock, could be ordered, and the price was higher than what I was quoted and would not be reduced. This is a very nice store, and the salesperson seemed to be new because they had to get assistance when they couldn't find the item I wanted. Not impressed to be told one thing and then when I go in ready to purchase, to be told something different, especially the price increase. Will be making my purchase elsewhere. read more

So I am into the gun thing. I frequent a lot of gun stores throughout the area. Being retired affords me the opportunity to take my time and pick my days events. I usually do my homework before I go. The google post for this place all seem the same and paid to be altered. My neighbor works for a company that alters the google reviews for company's so the 5 stars are not true depictions of what is really going on. So I don't put a lot into google reviews. Walked in. Was acknowledged by a younger gentlemen. The selection was fair and prices were what I see around most gun stores. Didn't get that friendly vibe for the place. Sterile and short answers to most questions. Selection of goods seemed in line with all other stores. Staff just felt rough around the edges to me. Felt as if I was being watched the entire time. Not in a friendly way. There was only one other guy in there with me. I get the impression the young guys are for lack of a better word cocky. Not the place for me. Two stars for cleanliness and ease of getting in and out of. read more

My daughter and I just finished the conceal carry class with Dale. I would recommend it to anyone!! The classroom portion moved at just the right pace and with only 10 people in the class everyone had all their questions, concerns and comments answered in detail. We were nervous about being females and possibly at a disadvantage from our lack of knowledge, but they were gone after a few minutes. We felt extremely comfortable and left very confident and well informed. At the range we were joined by Brandon, another instructor. We were split in two groups of five and both Dale and Brandon were on the line with the five shooting. It was so nice to have a 2 to 5 ratio while actually on the trigger. I feel as though we had plenty of help and I know we had their full attention while on the line. They helped us with our stance and grips in a way that didn't make us feel silly or awkward. We left with our certificates in our hands and sure of what we were doing and the steps necessary to complete our applications. I can't say enough good things about the way the class was run or the time and attention we were given by both Dale and Brandon. I can't wait to set up a private lesson or three to further improve my skills.
