I have traveled from Lancaster, SC to see Drs for dental care. I arrived bright and early and stood in line to check in. During the morning hours they take your X-rays of your teeth and then taken back to a room to see dr. First time I went was to have my top teeth that I had extracted, and get a top denture. I wait in Florence for the office to open back up at 2pm to start taking patients that was seen in the morning. They extracted my top teeth and made sure I was as comfortable, great customer service. After the extraction I was given my new top denture that had fit perfectly!!! They have reasonable prices! Best customer service, caring doctors and a friendly knowledgeable team at the office About a year later I went back to the office and went thru the same process to be seen to have my bottom teeth extracted and receive bottom denture. Once again they made sure I was comfortable entire time. I had a tooth that the roots were wrapped around my jaw bone. Both doctors comforted me, made sure I was alright. Kind and was able to listen to music in the room during the procedure. When they were finished they placed the bottom dentures in place and sent me home with discharge instructions. A few months later I went back yet again to have my dentures adjusted. Everyone gave me a warm welcome, and when I was seen they were all kid, professional and assisted in adjusting my dentures. I had the dentures adjusted since the swelling when down from having the teeth extracted. Was fast and easy for them to adjust the fitting of the dentures. Thanked them once again for amazing service, kind, caring professional individuals. The office is well organized, and they have patients drive or fly in from other states for their care. Don't listen to these negative reviews. This office has the best staff and doctors. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Have even referred other patients to the facility and they too were very pleased. I will not come here again for anything my finished denture looks horrible the staff are unprofessional and rude .The so called owner acts like an entitled spoiled rich kid no respect for the patients. Just go anywhere but here this place is a nightmare. Might make a complaint to the national Dental association. Just don't come here go anywhere else!!! read more

I went here this morning around 10 , because I have a wisdom tooth that's really been bothering me, I spoke to a lady on Thursday and asked her "if I came in there on Friday" would they be able to look at my tooth, and see if they could extracted it , she told me yes. So I get here this morning only to be told they weren't doing anymore tooth extractions today. I drove an hour , just to not get any help. The brunette lady at the front desk , with the piercing, needs to learn some manners , she had nothing but attitude. She also said after 8am they don't do extractions after that time, but I didn't see anything about that on their website. This is the second time I've been here, and never had an issue , but I felt like my concerns meant nothing ! read more

Do not get a partial done there. It is a waste of money. I complained about my partial initially and I spoke to one of the owners, not Mr. Perry. Originally, he told me we do not do refunds, but we could possibly credit it to your account. He suggested but kind of pressured me to get an adjustment. An adjustment is when some of the teeth are shaved or filed some and the metal part that clips on your teeth is manipulated. I did that and it still was not right. I continued to complain about it, and it was recommended to get adjustment by different people at this point. Well, my dentist offered to talk to the owner and now since it is a year later after all the adjustments, my money cannot be credited or refunded. I paid for a service and product. If it is not right, I should be able to get my money back. This is bad business and wasted money. I really needed the partials because I have no back teeth to chew with. Dr. Snowden was nice, but painful. First visit was no pain at all. Second visit was very painful. JT did a terrible job on my bridge and had a very bad attitude because I was not pleased with his work. Not worth the money, waste of time. Not honest with prices and does not give patients a dental plan after first visit. Calling office for 2 weeks and no one answers the phone. Very High turn-over with employees, especially front desk. I'm A very nervous person when it comes to a dentist visit. I had to have five teeth pulled and get a top plate.. the nurse Olivia made me feel relaxed and calm and when Dr Perry came in he was very friendly. I honestly can say it was the best experience I've ever had at a dental appointment. They were all so very caring and explained everything very well. I would recommend Dr Perry and Olivia to anyone. This place is a NIGHTMARE and a COMPLETE DISASTER! The office manager is a COMPLETE ASSHOLE! He does NOT need to work with people! Treated me as if I was wayyyy below him! I had an appointment to have teeth extracted today with them today at 9am. They called me right at 4pm yesterday, to tell me I owed a balance, and it had to be paid before they could see me! I had NO IDEA that I had a balance! Then they proceed to tell me that the lady idiot I set the appointment with, only set me up an appointment just to see the dentist. No extractions! Mind you, I told the lady everything going on! That I needed a certain amount of extractions, and had already paid for new teeth somewhere else, and it was set for me to go to the other place, right after I got my extractions today! They didn't care! This is NOT the first time I had trouble with them, either. I took my son to them about a year and a half ago, and he was like 8. He is TERRIFIED of needles, and had a panic attack when the time came, and The dentist, "Dr" Davis, told me, "If he is going to continue to act like a little shit, and keep panicking, then I'm not going to do the work on him, fuck it!" He was HORRIBLE! He also did fillings on a couple of my teeth, before my son had that trouble, and the fillings came out within a week! I HIGHLY do not Recommend this place! I have a major calcium deficiency which affected my teeth. I only had 17 left, so I decided to go ahead and get them pulled and replace with dentures. My husband drove me 4 hours to have everything done. That was 4 months ago. I still am unable to wear the dentures due to SHARDS of teeth left in my gums. They are slowly working their way out, but it is very painful. When I had it done, the dentist only gave me enough pain meds to last 2 days. I ended up in the hospital with acidosis because I was unable to hold anything down due to the pain. We called the office to see if he would call in more pain meds. They said I would have to come back with an appointment to be seen for more meds. The only way someone should visit this office is if it is their last resort. read more

Worst experience imaginable, especially considering dental anxiety beyond belief. When your crown chips, and you go to get it fixed. You should not be told by the dentist that "If it chips again, I'm out", and when trying to explain it chipped bitting into a sunflower seed, he says "you NEED to be more careful". So disrespectful and condescending. If I didn't already have anxiety and a fear of a dentist, this experience would have definitely led to it. Unless you can be seen by the one female dentist there (dont remember her name, I never went back for her to resume the work), she informed me, she could redo my crown, but because she uses a different lab, id have to pay full price for a new one. Couldn't bring myself to put myself through that again. Found new dentist who is the best I've seen, highly recommended Advanced Dental Center in Florence. Dr. Eric Thiede has my utmost respect for treating me like a human and understanding my anxiety. read more

I was visiting in town, and suffering from a toothache. I found the office through google and decided to stop in. They recommended an extraction(as with seemingly EVERYONE in the office). The waiting room gave off unwelcoming vibes and it REEKED of cigarette smoke..... and on top of that, the staff didn't display the professionalism that I have grown accustomed to experiencing in doctor's offices. The doctor was also extremely cold and lacked charisma. Needless to say, I won't be returning and didn't get any work done. read more

I'm kinda in disbelief but I just wanted to warn any of you whose family members are getting dentures. PLEASE do not go to Carolina Regional Dental. My hearts in pieces after what my mother went through yesterday there. Jamming needles into her mouth over and over to where they are hitting the bone. Pain and tears streaming down her face and the dentist telling her to stop. Left laying there for 30 mins sobbing with absolutely no remorse from the dentist and not even a word of sympathy. I went today to have two teeth extracted on one side of my mouth. I expressed that I had had a previous traumatizing experience and that I was anxious of dentists in general. I've also had a very good experience with extraction in the past, so this is not just my fear leaving this review. The staff in the office were very sweet and reassured me several times. The Dentist however, was very different. While attempting to do the extractions, he was very clumsy and jabbed me in the back of my mouth more than once, leaving bruises (nowhere near the teeth being extracted). He also kept stretching my lips to the point I could feel them splitting, which also left bruises, on the opposite side of my mouth from the extractions. I mentioned several times that he was mashing on another bad tooth with my lip causing excruciating pain on the opposite side of my mouth but he blamed it on me for moving. He blamed me for everything. I was talked down to for crying and for trying to stop him from pinching/stretching my lip against another bad tooth. He even talked down to me for apologizing for crying. I work in healthcare and I've had four children...and as previously mentioned, have had extractions before. I know what pain feels like, and I knew this wasn't going to be pleasant. What I DIDN'T expect was to feel like I was being abused and bullied. I left sobbing. read more

The only reason I give Carolina Regional Dental a 2 star rating is because of the slackness of the dark-haired receptionist. This is the first point of contact with the patient. The office manager needs to send her to some code of conduct, work ethics, patient confidentiality classes. She has a very bad attitude, very rude and has no compassion for the patient. Not to mention, she leaves the window open while verifying insurance with patients' personal information. As a healthcare worker myself, this is a very big no no! I hope she never loses her job there because she would not last a day in another healthcare facility! Get it together people! read more

I needed an extraction done, and it's a very busy place, so I can understand why they need to be quick. However, it is no excuse for what the first doctor did. As soon as he came in, he asked me which tooth and I showed him, he immediately started jamming the needle into my mouth without benzocaine. It hurt so bad. I have NEVER in my life, since childhood, had such a careless dentist before. And when I asked him why he didn't use benzocaine first before applying the needle, he literally ignored me. So, I asked the nurse if he would be the one doing the extraction, and when she said yes, I had a massive anxiety attack and she tried to calm me down, but I told her I wanted another dentist. It was so bad, I was shaking when she asked me to sign something. She did accommodate me, and got me a dentist that was more professional and polite. I gave it three stars because this place was not what I had hoped for. I've gone to many dentists and have never dealt with that before. Absolutely deplorable. read more
