I just moved to Brookings and have been looking for a new stylist and I am so happy I found her. I will definitely be coming back for all my hair color, hair cuts, and extensions. I will definitely try out the nail and tanning. I trust her 100% with my hair even after the first visit. She took amazing care of my hair and also made sure I had a relaxing appointment. Chandler did an amazing job on my hair, I'm in love. I've been waiting to see how it wears to make my review, but it's been about a month now. Chandler listened to all my ideas and also had her own creativity and expertise to run with it with her own flare. It turned out awesome. My favorite part is my haircut - a shaggy haircut with choppy layers that no other hairdresser was willing to take a chance on. It looks great with my curls and is just what I've wanted! Chandler was patient and detail oriented - she rearranged her schedule when my hair took longer than she had expected. She was personable and easy to talk to, but not pushy. I spent 4 hours in the chair getting my hair done (I have a lot of hair). Chandler was thoughtful and kind. She did absolutely amazing work. I had previously had my hair red and wanted to transition to blonde. I had long hair that we chopped 6 inches off (I never cut it short) but it looks super fabulous. The transition was perfect and I have scheduled an appointment for another time in the future! She definitely knows what she is doing and is very friendly and a kind person to go to. She did a balayage coloring, cut, and style. She also cleaned up my eyebrows. Long story short, I loved every minute of being in that salon. They were all very kind and friendly. Kennedy is simply FABULOUS!!! She is super-great at her job!!!! She listens & is easy to converse with ... and she's also knowledgeable, professional, patient & competent. Even throughout all of my questions & indecisiveness about details pertaining to exactly what I desired regarding my color, Kennedy was cool as a cucumber!!! I exclusively go to Carousel Salon for my haircuts and hair removal. The Salon is an amazing place with a very friendly yet professional staff and the aura is amazing. It almost feels like home with everyone talking, laughing, having fun and it's just such a comfortable feel. Jan is my favorite stylist! She has the most welcoming smile and OMG we have some huge laughs!!!!! She was patient and thorough. She actually looked at my hair, she listened to my goals and concerns. She took the time to explain the products she was using. When doing my wax she did not just rip and go. She reviewed her work, fixed and plucked, and made sure I was happy with the way everything looked. I LOVED the salon. I just moved to Brookings and was in for a dye job. I had Lauren as my stylist! She was easy to talk to, incredibly kind, and is creative magic! She brought me back to my natural brunette color and it is lovely. I could not have asked for a better stylist. It is exactly what I wanted. Shana is always so great to see! She always makes her clients feel valued no matter if you are in for a quick trim or coloring services. Shana takes her time to make sure your hair is exactly as you want it and never makes you feel as if she is in a rush. Everything was wonderful. Chandler was awesome! She took her time, and made sure I was 100% satisfied with my hair! I had a lot of lightening done, but my hair is still super soft and healthy. She made excellent recommendations for me and made sure I have everything I need to keep my hair in good condition. I usually go to Great Clips to get my hair cut, which they do ok, but there is a MAJOR difference between Great Clips and Miranda. Miranda knows what she's doing and is amazing at it.
