Always reliable, keeping me up to date with the repair/service progress and providing excellent value. They have moved to Loanhead.

A quick phone call books my car in usually within 2 days, I get a call if any major work needs done and then another call when it's ready to pick up. They euxplained what needs fixed, how much it would cost and how long it would take clearly and so that I understood everything. The only minor thing that was a bit annoying the first time, is that if it's something minor like a tire needing replacing then they'll just do it and not call you but once you know it's fine.

Had it for about two months and only drive 800 miles and it was using coolant during this time, not a lot to begin with, but it gradually got worse. I suspected the head gasket was compromised because there was off white blobs of gunk on the dipstick. I phoned them to ask them to take a look which I'm entitled to do under the Sale of Goods act. They got snotty with me but let me drop the car off. They did at least provide me with a loan car during the week or so they had it in the garage. Got the car back and they claimed there was nothing wrong with it. When I picked it up they pretty much refused to speak to me about it. Also it looks like my car had been left out in the street next to a building site nearby for a few nights because it was covered in a thick coating of dust. Took the car home, the coolant loss got worse so I took it to a local garage in Perth (Harbour Garage - excellent service by the way) and they confirmed the head gasket was indeed faulty. Ended up having to replace at my own cost. I have the head gasket but was so fed up with the experience I never got around to sending them a photographm wish I had now. So a word of warning... watch yourselves with these guys, they play the very nice sales people but don't want to know if you find the car has a fault shortly after you buy it.

I'd heard a couple of people recommend this place so thought I'd give it a try. I got booked in quickly and dropped it in a couple of days later. It needed some work doing, someone called with a quote and timescales before anything was carried out. I gave the go ahead and everything went smoothly. Customer service was great. The friendly lass in reception kept me up to date with all progress which makes a big difference. All in all a good service. I don't know a lot about cars but they seem to be pretty cheap for the work I had done. I'll definitly be using them again.

Only yesterday, I was checking my tyre pressures and noticed one of the valves was not visible, I popped into KW Auto Fix and one of the mechanics fixed it straight away, and then rechecked my tyre pressure for me, no charge - fantastic !!!! Later on in the day, my car broke down, I called the AA who advised a new battery, so I called KW Auto Fix and they managed to order in and fit a brand new battery before they closed for the evening, the price was right and their service was very swift. I would recommend them to anyone.
