Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Having fallen foul of the original extremely complicated and poor booking system, I finally had my appointment booked for this morning and spent a good few hours moving many pieces of small furniture, large TV etc ready to have my carpets cleaned. 15 minutes after the appointment time I phoned to check they were still coming. 45 minutes afer the appointment time I received a call back to say that they had got 'held up' and couldn't confirm when someone would be there. When I pointed out that this wasn't great service I was transferred to the owner who started the conversation with 'what's your problem' then proceeded to scream and shout at me. When I referred to the reviews on this site he claimed that people who write or read reviews are not the type of client he wants and put the phone down on me! In complete contrast I called Groupon to complain. I was advised that many similar complaints had been received and that my money would be refunded immediately plus a gesture of goodwill - please note 'Mr Brag', that's what great service looks like. Unfortunately Brag do not seem to be able to cope with the level of business Groupon delivered which suggests to me that they are too small a business to be worth dealing with and service is clearly patchy. The pressure has also clearly got to the owner who needs to remember his manners. If you haven't already redeemed your Groupon voucher my advice is to call them and claim a refund - they do have other carpet cleaning offers coming up apparently! read more

DO NOT USE BRAG CLEANING OR CARPET-CLEANING-IN MANCHESTER They are a very unprofessional outfit who cancel at the last minute and do not return all emails. They now have a new online booking system which does not work all the time. When you do manage to speak to someone (which is frustrating in itself) they can be very rude with questions such as "What do you want me to do about it?" Call that customer service? Customer Disservice more like. I made my initial booking 5 months ago. The last reply I received they told me they could not adhere to last year's prices even though I have been trying to make a booking for 5 months. I do not have to hope that this Company will go bankrupt. It's obvious that they will. Good riddance. read more

Under NO circumstances do not use this company. Do NOT take a Groupon voucher with them. They run under Brag Cleaning and Carpet Cleaning Manchester. They mis-sell. I got cancelled 3 times and after a lot of emails just got abuse back and told to basically do one and get a refund off Groupon. Joke of a business and I hope they go under. read more

Couldn't get a reply from Carpet Cleaning in Manchester, after making a booking through their website two weeks before the date we wanted the carpets cleaning. A simple "No, we can't make it on the day you want" would have been really helpful, but alas, they chose to ignore me. I understand they may be busy, but a simple reply email would have been appreciated. Ah well! If they don't want my money, so be it! We ended up at B&Q where we paid £35 to hire a cleaner and buy the shampoo - worked a treat! read more

Our original date booked was cancelled the day before and we were rather disappointed as we had moved all the small items out of the room and emptied drawers etc. However when he arrived the day after, the carpet and suite were cleaned to a very satisfactory standard and we are delighted. We will certainly use the service again and recommend them to friends. We were assured that all the communication problems were now sorted out. read more

The first time I made an appointment for them to clean my carpets, they just didnt turn up. No phone call, nothing to say they were'nt coming. I tried to phone them over the next few days, but the mobile was switched off. I left it a few weeks then thought I would call again on the off chance and surprise surprise, Rob the owner picked up the phone. I explained I had arranged an appointment with them a few weeks previously and they hadnt turned up and I didnt get one word of an apology. He told me to email him and to go back on the website and arrange a further appointment and he would definitely email me when he received my email. I heard nothing so i phoned that evening and he said he was just doing the appointments for monday . He reckoned he would fit me in between 9 and 9.30 monday morning but would send me a text and email first thing this morning to confirm. Guess what ? Correct. No text , no email. Phoned his mobile , left a message to call me and yet again have heard zilch ! If they turn up on monday , it will be a miracle. The service is diabollical and they are hugely unreliable. Would happily give zero stars. Bought a group on voucher September last year and priced up the work. Used their website to book in dates and received an email from them confirming this. They didn't show and I spent September ringing and emailing and had no replies. Their phone always went to answerphone. I had given hope that they existed When at the end of oct/ nov they emailed to say they had technical problems and I should rebook. When I tried the cost was over three times more. Do not make a booking with this company. I had a Living Social voucher & booked a date for them to clean a carpet. They never confirmed the date or answered my emails. The phone number does not work, so there is no way they can be contacted. I contacted Living Social & they have refunded my money as apparently this company have not fulfilled their obligation to a number of people. Be warned!! read more

got my groupon voucher and booked my preferred date on line.received my email confirming the date and time. spent morning moving furniture out of the rooms to be cleaned but no one showed up ! Rang and spoke to a guy who said he was really sorry, didnt know why but took my details and said he would ring back that day. No call back so rang again and left voicemail message.phoned again next 2 days but no answer so left further messages. rang again today only to be told by same guy that there system was down so they couldnt see customer details.tried to explain a courtesy call would of been nice but was met by very unhelpful comments and no apology and then had the phone put down on me !!! the guy needs some tips in customer service ! needless to say I will not be using their service and will be getting a refund ! Had the same booking problem as others but i believe this has been resolved now. However they did turn up later the same day and do a fantastic job of cleaning the carpets. So long as they turn up on time next time I intend to use them then I would recommend to others. read more

Got my voucher of groupon went to book was advised by company to book for following Friday 19th and the exact time they could do mine and my mums carpets. We waited after we had removed all our furniture out of our living room they did'nt turn up, they phoned us up to tell us they was running late cleaning school carpets and could they come next friday 26th at a later time 5pm and 6pm we accepted this, waited till the following week removed all our furniture AGAIN and guess what they never turned up AGAIN. We tried to phone them many a times that evening to just see if they were running late no ANSWER AGAIN as it was bank holiday I left it till Tuesday then phone again no answer AGAIN, phone Wednesday they answered he said they were going through alot of Changes would get back to me NEVER did. Tried phoning on many occasions straight to answer machine. And yes it was only £15 of Groupon but £30 service charge for out of area but if you don't want to offer such cheap rates you should'nt sign up to groupon if you can't handle the number of customers. Or at least be honest to the customers what phone you and tell them they are never coming and never gonna get back to you on phone to sort it out. we are now on the 14th Sept not far from a month after the original booking date and still not one phone call back. And yes gonna ask groupon for my money back as this is an unreliable company from my dealings with them. read more
