Slightly more expensive than some of the other mobile phone stores I have found, however I prefer this store if I am looking for a decent contract phone deal. Very polite helpful staff. read more

The screen was fuzzy . When I came back I was told that it had been dropped too many times and basically nothing they could do and not covered by them or Apple . I took out my extra thick shock proof I pad case and explained to them the I pad had been in the case the entire time , which it had and that any scratches were from when I brought it in the first place ! The staff didn't offer to help on any way or offer any kind of exchange or partial refund , nothing ! So i've paid £178 for an I pad that's lasted 8 months , that probably shouldn't have been sold in the first place . I wouldn't recommend CEX mansfield to anyone wanting to by an I pad or other devices . They could have done so much to help but instead did nothing . Very angry and disappointed .

The store is a decent size, they do have some phones on display but they are mounted down obviously and aren't fully "Apple Store style" interactive. The staff members here seemed really friendly, especially the person who served me who didn't care I wasn't going to be signing up today, he was still happy to talk me through some of their sims only deals and show my signal coverage near my home and work, which appeared to be much better than 3 for starters! He seemed really friendly, he wasn't pushy and he even said he was happy for me to sign-up at another store because his priority was "Customer satisfaction over Commission", a fantastic employee who deserves appreciation from his manager, I remember him telling me he used to work back in my home city, Manchester in the Stockport store! Out of all the mobile phone provider stores within the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in terms of overall look/feel and service, this appears to be one of the best and this store surely did help make my mind up regarding joining Vodafone this coming May. 4*

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service I received. Straight in and out again in about ten minutes. I like that kind of shopping.

Their customer service is a bit on the ropey side, I have had to make a few complaints over the years and most of the time I get usual (unhelpful) corporate dribble from who ever I'm speaking to on the phone. I think you have to look at it from their point of view (as with any other mobile phone company) - There are millions of mobile phones in circulation in the UK today, split that between 5 providers and your still looking at one hell of a profit. why should they make the effort? In my experiance, they're only REALLY helpful when they're trying to sell you a new contract.

After firstly visiting the Victoria Centre branch (whose Customer Service skills I could never have faulted previously), I was very disappointed by the complete lack of 'engagement' by two of the 'staff' there - I was the only customer present at that time. However, the great team at Long Row ,Nottingham, saved the day!! :) My thanks go out to Dil - who was very thorough in assisting, explaining (and problem solving!) especially to a customer who is not very 'tech-minded'. In addition, Fez - your 'leadership' and supportive skills are first rate (from my observation)! I can see why this store is so busy.. but I didn't mind waiting! The staff remain very approachable, friendly, with a calm willingness to go an 'extra mile' - in a very busy store!! Quite a skill to 'pull off' well! ;) As a result of the exceptional standard of service, this 3 Store made extra sales (from this customer at least). And isn't that what business is about? ;) Thank you!

The staff member who greeted me seemed both friendly and knowledgeable and explained how poor the signal is within the centre and how they usually keep a booster in store, which is good but that booster was down too. They didn't have a lot of phones on display which is a missed opportunity considering there is no Apple Store for over 30 miles (The nearest is Leicester). I also don't like how they mount down what they do have on a really high table, ruining the interactive feel. Staff were always helpful and came and asked if we needed any help without imposing. The store itself is large & items are easy to find. Prices are clearly labeled and the shelfs are full. The actual store itself is hard to get to if you don't have your own transport, but with various other retailers all located in the same retail park, it doesn't pose much of a problem.

I'd definitely recommend reading up on products before you go.
