I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with this store. It started out ok and has gotten…read moreprogressively worse in the past three weeks. Repeatedly we have tried to get them to measure out kitchen for counters and cabinets. They have been wasting a lot of time. Apparently no one knows what's going on there either. We made an appointment to meet with the designer for new counters and cabinets. They tried to discourage us from waiting. We finally talked to the designer and they took our choices down told us they would schedule us for a measure. It never happened then three weeks later tried to refund the charge. I told them to talk to my mother , who has the keys to measure they said theyd call and they never did. So now I have to chase them.down again . So far they have wasted 3 weeks! This same home depot told me my doors would be in in two weeks and they wont be in for 4 weeks and delayed the tile by a week. But by far the cabinets are the most infuriating part of this saga. I was told that everything was cut and dry. The kitchen would be measured quickly and they would be ordered and placed asap. Why was it important for me to give you a deadline on when I wanted this done if it was going to be slow rolled ?

On Friday, April 5, this year I bought a water heater from True Value; two of their employees came…read moreout after work to install it, for cash. The installation went fine; no problems then or now. The problem is removing the old heater. The employees left it outside by my back porch and said they would be out the next day, Saturday, by noon to take it away. Didn't happen. On Monday, April 29, I went to their store to ask what the problem was and when the old heater would be picked up. This touched off a comedy routine between two of their employees about who fixed problems and who was a problem. I wasn't laughing. After the comedy routine was done, I was promised that it would be picked up Friday for sure. That would have been May3. Didn't happen then, either. On June 10, I sent a snail mail letter to the store (their email wasn't working) explaining the situation and asking when the old water heater would be picked up. No response. As I write this, late July, the damned thing is still sitting right where their guys left it. This is not my idea of customer service. And I don't appreciate being the butt of somebody's jokes. I wonder if these guys realize that anything they sell can be found someplace else in town. And from now on, anything I might need will be bought someplace else.
